Please help find pic from Rolling Stones 1972 by David Dalton (Author) Brian&Keith on floor hammering away. Mick gets such a hard groove from them he’s up and moving. I have a hunch its Redlands and def very late in the game for Brian. Love to see pic again!
It's at Redlands in Keith's studio/hangout room, but circa 1969 - Brian's hair is noticeably shorter than it was in December for the Rock and Roll Circus, and looks like it did in the Olympic photos from 1969 that Eric Hayes took:
There's photos of the Redlands room with Jack Nitzsche and Ry Cooder hanging out that are said to be from April 1969 by Michael Cooper, but Brian doesn't seem to be present at the same time:

Wonder if Brian jammed with Cooder?I think in Tony Scaduto book, he quoted an anonymous source only as an American musician who was present during the Let it Bleed sessions as saying Mick and Keith were being mean to Brian.Maybe that was Cooder. In the last picture posted above with Cooder ,Charlie, Keithand Jagger , it looks like Brian in the shadows to the left of Mick.Brian is also playing slide guitar in one of the photos .

I agree with automaticchanger that the photo in question were taken in 1969 rather than late 1968.
To support autmaticchangers claim...
In 1983, Rolling Stone Press (text by Robert Palmer) published a book titled "The Rolling Stones", the cover being the same photo as the Black and Blue album cover.
On page 143 of that book, there is another shot in black-and-white of Brian Jones, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards from the same day, in 1969, also at Redlands. All three are wearing the same clothes as in the photos taken at Redlands posted by automaticchanger. Photo is credited to Michael Cooper.
The caption next to the photo reads: "Once more, for old times sake: Mick and Keith with Brian at Keith's cottage in 1969. In June, the Stones told Brian he was out of the group."
