I'll start the ball rolling:

1. Run Rudolph Run - Keith Richardfs (obv)
2. Things Fall Apart - Cristina
3. A Fairytale Of New York - Pogues

1. Kinks - Father Christmas
2. Blondie - We Three Kings
3. Halford - I Don't Care

I'm not really a fan of christmas songs, to say the least, so my choice is somewhat, disrespectful of the peaceful mood, perhaps winking smiley

Mele Kalikimaka Bing
Must Be Santa Zimmerman
Happy Xmas

EDIT
Forgot about Cool Yule...that might have beat out Happy Xmas.

SECOND EDIT
Also forgot about Christmas, Baby Please Come Home by Darlene Love, or U2 for that matter. OK, I have to stop. I'm sure there's more.

Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody
Wizard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
Mele Kakikimaka - Bing Crosby
Merry Christmas Everyone - Shakin’ Steven’s

Edit: I am u sure if the Bing Crosby number was a single; but I’ve always loved that scene from Christmas Vacation.

Christmas Song by Jethro Tull is the least I can support.

Honestly: at work, my colleges are playing christmas songs playlists since 1 month.

Did I mention, that I don't care?

Well, you see what a daily life Stones fan has to face.
But it's a very good training for patience. It really is!
And: if you can't train patience, how could you develope strenght therein?
So: thank god it's christmas time again! and again! and again! ....

Let me start by saying something that will be regarded as totally sacrilegious around here: I think that "Run, Rudolph, Run" is way overrated.

I believe that it's reputation among Stones' fans is based on the fact that for years it was pretty obscure. It was released on a 45 without much fanfare and didn't get much airplay. Then it was hard to find. I bought it when it came out and even back then I found it sort of underwhelming. It fails to launch and just plods along...falling short of conveying both the joy of Christmas...and Rock n' Roll!

As an alternative I suggest either Chet Atkins version of "Jingle Bell Rock" or the Ventures Christmas album or this wild Santo and Johnny nugget that has been my go-to song this Christmas:

just realised that the Cristina single is produced by Don Was so only partially OT. I wonder if the crunchy guitar is Wayne Kramer, who did a lot of sessions for Was around then?

If you've never heard it , give it a listen
