All the leftover film and audio from the 1972 shows , if any exists, from sources like the L&G tapes, Dick Cavett Show and the CS Blues film. Also any recordings from the Let it Bleed sessions.Like any with Brian or Ry Cooder playing on songs, separate or together.Brian supposedly played on the original Honky Tonk Women.

I would love to hear the tape with Keef snoring, waking up, playing the Satisfaction riff, going back to bed and snoring again. That would be something...

But seriously, I would love to hear how certain songs evolved into the song we all know today, Satisfaction, Street fighting Man, Honky Tonk Women, Sway, Little Red Rooster, Hey Negrita... basically anything.

I would also love to hear ALL the Black and Blue jamming with all the guitarists visiting the boys.

The Holy Grain to me is the El Mocambo show and we got that, so as far as concert recordings go, I am alright with what we already have.

And when it comes to boots, I consider the two Voodoo box sets and the double CD, Voodoo Residue the Holy Grail. Those are just magnificent with superb sound and artwork.

By the way, I have been wondering... why was not El Mocambo released as part of the Vault series? Does anyone know? And Welcome To Shepherd's Bush? And Wiltern? So what is the concept with the Vault series?

I guess this is because a DVD/Blu ray is integral to the Vault series. And El Mocambo hasn't been filmed

Double Door 1997
All the Licks club shows
Any unreleased pro shot from 89/90
The shows from the Hal Ashby recordings, unedited, complete and with the correct speed.
EchoPlex 2013
Paris 76 (maybe next year!)
The 2 London 02 shows from 2012, it had been such a long time.

I guess the vault series just ended in 2017 with Fonda theatre. Then Miami 94 came which was released before partly so they simply stayed away from the Vault banter.

Bridgekeeper: Hee hee heh. Stop. What… is your name?
King Arthur: It is ‘Arthur’, King of the Britons.
Bridgekeeper: What… is your quest?
King Arthur: To seek the Holy Grail.
Bridgekeeper: What… is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
King Arthur: What do you mean? An African or European swallow?
Bridgekeeper: Huh? I… I don’t know that.
[he is thrown over]
Bridgekeeper: Auuuuuuuugh.
Sir Bedevere: How do know so much about swallows?
King Arthur: Well, you have to know these things when you’re a king, you know.

For the insiders/experts here. Are there actually any "holy grail" recordings from 1978 and before that could actually be made ready for legitimate sales/sets?

It seems like there would have been something by now from legit sources??

All the audio recordings for GIMME SHELTER. To have a true live album from 1969 would be excellent.

I would be surprised if they release Paris 1976 film. They prepared a full deluxe release of a compilation of the Paris gigs but could not reach an agreement with the estate of the original producer, and several tapes were missing. They dropped the release in the end.

And I never liked the gigs very much...Give me Knebworth any time!

Does such a thing exist ?

At least it did, according to Gomelsky himself (by the courtesy of our one and only Rockman):

By the way, if Holy Grail supposed to be Holy Grail then it should be one, something extraordinary, and not just another gig that is not that much circulated yet.

That one IS!

Agree 100%. But there’s so little interest in the early stuff, most seem just to want yet another live gig to add to their download collections. I suppose the early things are only really of interest to those of us who were around at the time. I’m 74 now, it’s 60 years since I bought my first Stones record and I have all of the early recordings that are available, there’s a few more I would like to hear. I don’t need to own them, just to hear the Gomelsky tape or the missing radio broadcasts would be enough.

Apart from the Gomelsky Crawdaddy recording, I would think Stu's memorial in 86 would be the holy grail, although I read no one recorded it. Perhaps individual songs got filmed?

i'm 40 years younger then you and would defenitly like to have those early recordings

i think we now have more then enough ronnie era stuff out there can they please strike some kind of deal with abcko and get the early stuff left in the vaults released already or do we have to wait for there estates to do that

and this may not be the legendary gomelsky film but at least we know it exists still

i'd gladly pay $50 for a release of this i don't care how bad it sounds
