Since we don't have any of it in good sound, I'd like something well recorded from the '66 and '67 tours. Maybe they could do the digital magic they did to the BBC tapes to bring up what exists into a listenable experience. Got Live If You Want It is exciting in places but really lacking fidelity wise.

I do share that wish as my most wanted.

Wasn’t it Glyn Johns who recorded the ‘66 British shows? I do wonder if they still exist in the archives. Whatever was recorded from the Yardbirds’ opening-set would be an incredible bonus!

Holy grail...

MSG 1969 all three shows

Roundhouse 1971 both shows

Washington/Akron/Charlotte 1972 in the same quality as the Roundhouse official release

Winter Tour 1973 in fabulous quality, like the Brussels boot and not the Brussels official release.

Knebworth in the same quality as LA 1975

100 Club 1982 in the same quality as Hampton

It has been denied by people who were there.

I wish there were more videos of them working in the studio... 'making of...', or dissecting multi-tracks in the studio. It's fascinating what comes out in the process.

I'd like to hear the first live versions of Wild Horses and Can't You Hear Me Knocking Bill talks about in his book.

If there are rehearsals for the EL Mocambo shows. I've never heard anything about this.

The Stu tribute that was recorded by Macca that no one can confirm exists.

Toads Club would be on the list of mine as well.

Allegedly, he didn't record anything, according to people who were there (Bill German and others).

Very interesting request. This was my last Stones show that I caught and I thought it was a good one. I went to Buffalo with my then 14 year old son just expecting the Stones to go through the motions but they more than exceeded my expectations.

I've seen them over 40 times since 1975. It's still one of the best shows I ever saw.

I forgot about another Holy Grail. The rehearsal tapes with Bill in 2012. I believe they rehearsed for a couple days. Might even of had Mick Taylor involved.

I think Mathijs has said they were filmed. It would be nice to have one of those - both would be wishful thinking - released, with any usable rehearsal footage as a bonus, perhaps.

Chicago 2019

NJ 2024

The Point 2002

I wish high quality recording of each show would be made available just after the show. I’d get every one I attend. Or miss. Phone recordings just don’t do it.

I remember going to the who in 2007 and be able to purchase a recording (not sure if audio or video) of every show

I wouldn't argue with you on that. I would rate Buffalo 2015 as one of the better later day Stones shows that I was lucky to have attended. They were on fire that night.

For me, it's any 90s stuff. I know I am in a minority and that we have a lot already, but that was the decade I got into them, so it means a lot to me.

A complete show from 1970! That's the only tour without any official release. Beside that I would welcome something from 1969, 1972 (L&G doesn't sound good at all)

100% agree! Any show from 1970 tour plus something better sounding from 1972 (a better L&G or the Philly show)

Is it copywrite the reason why the band doesn't just start releasing everything?
Or just thinking it's a waste of time and no one cares?

For me it would be a comprehensive box of all 60s studio outtakes. This just seems amazing to me that while The Beatles, The Who and every other Tom, Dick and Harry Band from the 60s have these amazing boxed sets from that period, but The Greatest Rock and Roll Band to ever exist and Abkco cannot agree on terms to get this stuff out. There are some fantastic Chess Studios outtakes, ealy 1963 demos, alternative versions, instrumentals, etc.. - Seems like a no-brainer to me, how much longer do they think their audience will be alive LOL

I agree with what you say but I don't think it is only, or at all, ABKCO to blame for who "cannot agree on terms to get this stuff out'. It is the other party - The Stones - that is the problem there. But history taken, I do understand their attitude, although it costs money for them (but not that much, really). That's the price for pride I guess. But showing a middle finger for Klein people must feel good... Right, Mick and Keith?

But we hardcore fans are the only true losers here, unfortunately. Yeah, go to listen to some 'vaults' live release from the late 90's - ages after their true relevance and historical significance - and be happy, oh yeah..
