Keith never seems to be on these deluxe outtakes from any of the deluxe albums.

The only time he was spotted for sure was on Exile, So Divine (Aladin Story) I think.
Dancing In The Light, wasn't it?

I meant to say that Keith doesn't seem to be doing any additional work on these outtakes for the deluxe issues. I didn't notice anything new from Keith on the old outtakes.

Not sure about DITL but the Keith overdubs are pretty obvious (not in a good way actually) on SD/AS.

Keith doesn't like working on old outtakes from 45-55 years ago, and he's not interested in these reissues either. Except for Exile, he never did any press for any of the others, Exile was the exception, but I think he must be regretting it or didn't like the (or his) finished work on some of the outtakes, with Aladdin Story being the most obvious.
These reissues are work for Mick and Ronnie, who are more open; Keith could care less.

I think it's time for a restored version (HD/HQ) of all B&B promo video: Hey Negrita, Crazy Mam, Hot Stuff and Fool to Cry.

Keith was the driving guitar for Plundered My Soul.
He's one the SG deluxe songs. And TY songs.
It's a beautiful thing, this BAB deluxe reissue.
Will there be more?
Time is running out.
It's incredible that they're doing BAB.
Does that mean ER and U will get deluxe treats?
At this point, I hope so.
But possibly more important the anthology.
The Rolling Stones have a huge amount of unreleased material...

I agree. But wouldn’t get my hopes up that it would actually be an upgrade. The videos on Some Girls Super Deluxe are worse quality than what I already had on boot.

The vinyl box set of Black and Blue is so damn expensive. For an album of jams, a couple of (more) live discs and a remix of the already perfect sounding original record that I’m actually wary of, and another book, over AUD$440!! Yikes. I might have to give this one a miss…

We know that Mercury has restored Rolling Stones promo videos. I believe Mick has a lot more from the vaults planned, including restored videos.
I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a dream box of unreleased material coming our way.

I was chatting with a friend who collects vinyl about the cost of the vinyl super deluxe release compared to the CD super deluxe. We couldn't think of a logical answer.
My best guess is that record companies think audiophiles who buy vinyl have more money. In other words, corporate greed.
It's nice to have super deluxe boxes with new mixes, a great live concert, and finished outtakes. However, many fans cannot afford the high prices of the Rolling Stones. Admittedly, the super deluxe release with all of the goodies are not astronomically priced, but they aren't inexpensive either. The costs of the super deluxe boxes are out of reach for many fans. Each item isn't sold separately, not even at a later date.
I thought maybe the Goats Head Soup surround sound CD would become available a long while after its release in 2020, but it didn't become available separately.
I'm thrilled to get this Black and Blue rerelease.

I can never spot these overdubs. What's the obvious clue in this case?
Of course, if you've heard the boot of a certain show and the released version differs, then the discrepancy is clear, but I've been listening to LYL for 48 years now and had not noticed that Keith's vocal is overdubbed on Happy.
Thanks in anticipation!
We barely hear Mick, while Keith sings flawlessly during the choruses. That never happened, either.Quote

New single coming on October 17th: Hot Stuff (2025 Mix): [www.qobuz.com]
I can already hear a jarring technical mistake in the new mix: at 2:51, Mick's voice only comes back at "Stuff", we can't hear the "Hot" word that comes before it.
I guess it's already too late to ask for a fix, the sets are already being manufactured...

Remixes are evil! (these are 5 cents of mine).
