I remember coming across a program on Antenne2 in 1982 in which, while presenting the Stones' European tour, they aired excerpts from a 1976 concert in Paris. Could this be what we're talking about in the reissue of Black and Blue?
My understanding is they cannot get an agreement with the owners for the use of the Paris 76 broadcast material.
The rumored date of the Paris footage included on the reissue is June 5.
Judging from Mick’s outfit, I don’t think any footage from this show was used in the broadcasts.

When I look at the BR title list, I think it is the French TV (A2) special “Les Rolling Stones Aux Abattoirs” (directed by Freddy Hausser).

This is also the same setlist as was shown on the Old Grey Whistle Test on 20.9.1977. (I remember the night - an old portable B/W TV) ... (Satisfaction is listed but this wasn't played (as I'm sure everyone knows), if I remember rightly this was the Outro music to OGWT that night.....
[archive.bobharris.org].
Is it the same film?....If it is, it's from several nights ... (Mick - quote - from the preceding OGWT interview - "Hence the change of costumes" ....I guess we'll have to wait and see........

If it is true, original B&B outtakes you seek perhaps you should try to get a hold of this CD:

I have a question. Is the colored vinyl box the same as the 2-LP edition that is sold separately?

Who decides on what outtakes are put on these Deluxe release versions. of course Mick will have a say
Does Keith hav any input ? or does he care as long as the money rolls in.
I have ordered the Deluxe version anyway but feel they as usual have missed another
opportunity to give the the real fans what they want. We know there are lots more than you disclose.
Mick stop holding out on relaesing and teasing fans with your part releases.
We womt be around forever.
Wild Horses .
We will probably have all these outtakes bootleg

Again, as incredible as it may seem, KR actually did not know that Mick Taylor had overdubbed on Plundered My Soul when he said that. I have this directly from the producer. No further comment.

This happened round when Mick allegedly proof-read Life, methinks. The thought of Mick pulling his leg a wee bit with this crossed my mind.
Surely this must have been the first time Keith wasn't informed about a thing like this.

"Mick" just posted some footage of the 2025 sessions for SSS on his FB page, as expected it's him, Ronnie and Chanel

understandable, the slander Keith wrote about Mick in Life was just completely disrespectful and mannerless. We are incredibly lucky that they got on terms again after that.

Here’s a question: instead of overdubs and new Jagger vocals, why not polish-up the original track and release ‘as is’ After all, these recordings - ‘new vocals’ and all - are only going to appeal to us so-called diehard’s, anyway. Personally, I’d rather they’d have left Shame Shame Shame as an unfinished instrumental.
