Disc 5 is labelled 'Bluray Audio' for both London & Paris. I know its hopefully visual, as they did mention 4k. Hope it definitely is the visual Paris.

While the falsetto was a little jarring at first, I got used to it after a few listens. This probably should have been a true duet like the original song as Mick doesn’t seem really committed to singing the falsetto by himself throughout the song.

Much like Trouble’s A Comin’, Charlies drums seem too be brought up more in the mix than the original bootleg, but the problem is it seems like he’s still feeling his way through the song which might be why he sounds like he’s playing “drunk” as someone else has commented. I have a feeling I Love a Lady might be the same way when we hear it too because that sounds like a song they’re working their way through too…at least to my ears.

Anyways, much like all their other outtakes that they finish, it takes some getting used to after hearing the bootleg version for so long. Once you get past it, it’s got a nice groove.

I remember Izabella Scorupco had a big hit with this song (a Shirley & Company cover from 1974) in 1992.
Made top ten in Sweden and parts of Europe.

Song seems to be funny, maybe they were just having a laugh. I like the music though.

As has been posted several times before in the previous pages it is NOT the same song!

@Z - credits for SSS? From Qobuzz or YT? Isn't there a woman duetting with Mick at the end (not the falsetto part)?

AFAIK Robert A. Johnson had gone completely under the radar for the Rotterdam sessions, that's the biggest surprise of the réédition at this point ;-)

The credits I posted are the ones showing on Tidal.

* Composing credit is given to "John Reed" (as on YouTube), though it was written by Sylvia Robinson, I believe (?)

I’m horrified that this release does not include ‘come on sugar’ a.k.a. ‘let’s do it right’
It’seasily the best of the black and blue outtakes that I’ve heard. I was so looking forward to a properly mixed. Finished version of this track and I’m gutted….
Can only hope it’s being saved for whatever anthology type project the fully finished outtakes were working towards (though it didn’t feature in that leak, so I really am hoping against hope)
These jams are better be tasty!

That will happen eventually, and that's why they only release a few outtakes on these reissues, tracks that are rarely bootleged or the most usable currently.

Someday we'll have a box set with all these classic outtakes that will be officially released.
I hope there are still fans left to buy them.

Meanwhile these unreleased tracks serve their purpose, they come with videos and generate interest or publicity so that those interested can buy this reissue.

This cover of Shame Shame Shame sounds fantastic for 2025: funky, addictive, and doesn't seem as dated as it is, even though the base track is 50 years old.

Tattoo You Version:

Jimmy Reed

Well I tried to tell you baby
But it made no sense
Now you got me baby
Up against this fence
And ain't that a shame, shame, shame
Shame, shame the way you do
Well it's a shame, shame, shame
Shame, shame on you
Well now you walk out in the evening
Don't even say you're goin'
Six o'clock in the morning
You come walkin' home
And ain't that a shame, shame, shame
Shame, shame the way you do
Well it's a shame, shame, shame
Oh, it's a shame on you
Well I be standin' and waitin'
For you to come home
When I wake up baby
I'm sittin' there all alone
And ain't that a shame, shame, shame
Shame, shame the way you do
Oh, it's a shame, shame, shame
Shame, shame on you

Black And Blue Version:

Sylvia Robinson

Ooh I feel somethin' baby
And I want you to know about it
See I want you to feel it, too
So just listen to me baby
Can't stop me now hear what I say
My feet want to move so get out my way
I'm gonna have my say
I'm going to every discotheque
I'm gonna dance dance dance dance ooh
'Till the break of day I say
Shame shame shame hey shame on you
If you can't dance too
I said shame shame shame shame shame shame shame
Shame on you
If you can't dance too
Don't stop the motion
If you get the notion
You can't stop the groove
'Cause you just won't move
Got my sunroof down
Got my diamonds in the back
Put on your shaky wig woman
If you don't I ain't comin' back
Shame shame shame hey shame on you
If you can't dance too
I said shame shame shame shame shame shame shame
Shame on you
If you can't dance too
If you don't want to go
Remember one monkey don't stop no show
My body needs action ain't gonna blow
Yes I'm going out and find a dancin' man
If you really think you're fast
Try to catch me if you can
And I said shame shame shame yeah (ah) shame on you girl
If you can't dance too
It's a shame shame shame shame shame shame shame
Shame on you
If you can't dance too
Shame shame shame hey shame on you
If you can't dance too
I said shame shame shame shame shame shame shame
Shame on you
If you can't dance too
Don't stop the motion
If you get the notion
You can't stop the groove
'Cause you just won't move
Got my sunroof down
Got my diamonds in the back
Put on your shaky wig woman
If you don't I ain't comin' back
Shame shame shame hey shame on you
If you can't dance too
I said shame shame shame shame shame shame shame
Shame on you
If you can't dance too
Shame, shame, shame, shame on you
If you can't dance too
Shame, shame, shame, shame on you
If you can't dance too
Shame, shame, shame, shame on you
If you can't dance too

Did Wood overdub his guitar this year on Shame like he did when they were preparing Loving in the Heart of Love for release on Tatoo You deluxe.Doubt he and Mandel were together in the studio in 1975

Jagger's voice, guitar sound, solo and female vocals all sound 2025... What is actually the outtake part in this?

The Rotterdam studio recording, from the sessions that include Worried About You, Slave, Crazy Mama, Cherry Oh Baby, Act Together and Fool To Cry, was instrumental and it is one of several outtakes. The vocals are new (my guess is they were recorded in April or May).

Ronnie wasn't there for the Rotterdam sessions so that means he overdubbed possibly in December of 1975 or 2025 during the April and May Metropolis sessions for the new album.

Perhaps the liner notes will provide some information just like the GHS and TY reissues didn't.

Yes sounds better with each listen, took me a while but has George McCrae “Rock your Baby” vibes. That’s why this album is so divisive, the Stones picked up on everything going on in ‘74-‘75…..
