There will be more than 2 "new" songs, it will be very similar to the GHS reissue that had 3 additional tracks and 7 instrumentals and alternative takes, B&B will be the same and with a show from the '76 tour included on another disc.

No concert on video?

What’s the timeline for this in relation to the studio album? Two releases in 2025?
Very exciting prospects!

i would argue that there is enough difference in the appearance and sound of the 76 versus the 75 tour to justify a video release
and even if there wasn't do we really need to have a limit on the amount of concert videos from the 70's?
i know there's only so many near identical concert films the casual fans will buy
but a super deluxe version of black and blue isn't something that casual fans are gonna buy anyways it's for hardcore fans and they'll buy as many concert films of shows from the 70's that the band are willing to release
however it's a mute point since they don't really release video with the super deluxe versions of albums which include live shows
and there's probably not any realistic options for them when it comes to professionally filmed concerts from 76
we've got the paris shows which have issues with the rights not belonging to the band and the cost of buying those back and restoring the footage just doesn't seem like it's worth it for anything less then a standalone release not tacked on to a super deluxe of black and blue
and then there's knebworth which also doesn't justify the cost of restoring the footage for that kind of release (unless they've already had it done)

I wasn't disagreeing about live video. I forgot about what you mentioned in regard to not having rights to the Paris show. Maybe they filmed themselves, perhaps if/as they did for what became LA FRIDAY.
I vaguely recall Mick commenting to Chet Flippo something about "making notes" while watching live film from a show in 1975.
1970s live videos are a total of three: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... LA FORUM and SG TEXAS.
The EXILE super had STONES IN EXILE, L&G and the Frank movie on DVD.
SOME GIRLS super had a DVD that I don't see any description of - maybe it's part of TEXAS?
The STICKY super DVD is pointless.
At least there's BRUSSELS, L&G and TEXAS on CD.

I understood that there were technical problems with the quality of the Knebworth recording in places that prevented an official release. That's why all the bootleg soundboard releases were incomplete.
Is this the case or does a quality master tape exist? Any thoughts?
I wonder if there's the possibility a deluxe "Love You Live." having heard the tracks that were mastered but rejected for release on the album
("Love You Live Mixes 2016"), these are great quality. These could be added along with others for release.
Thanks.

Let's speculate!
What extra tracks / different versions etc would we like to see on the BaB reissue? (I know the final product will inevitably be lacklustre, but let us dream)

Totally forgot they released part of CS Blues as part of the Exile Super Deluxe! Was it 30 minutes from that film was on the DVD?

Brown Leaves, Man Eating Woman, Built That Way. I suppose they could throw the Chuck Berry jam w/ Harvey Mandel on there since it was apparently from the FFO's never-released second batch[/quote.

OMG ,... English Rose ,...my most favourite outtake of this area ,....so sad that the quality of this outtake isn´t the best ,..and not complete...
I don´t belive it will be on it but it would be sooo great

PLEASE…NO remastering of their best sounding sonically perfect album!!! Somehow it’s “Stones-dirty” with crystal clear instrumentation. It is perfect as is.

Doubt they would release music which showcases great guitar playing on jams or instrumentals by guitarists , none of who they selected to replace Taylor

No concert on video?
Eh, there already is.
From the Vault: L.A Forum (Live in 1975)
The live album is from the Sunday show, the DVD is the Friday show.
LOVE YOU LIVE is, tour wise, all from 1976 except Fingerprint File, IORR and SFTD. However, only If You Can't Rock Me and You Gotta Move are truly live; all the rest of the tracks have overdubbed vocals. The Mocambo tracks sans Around And Around have guitar and harmonica and vocal overdubs on them that are almost comical (even YA-YA'S has guitar overdubs on it).

AFAIK, only Carol has a possible guitar overdub. Are there others?
