Yes, I had read about this. I’m not particularly surprised. The session guy’s - even to this day - are largely unknown to everyone, other than those who care. If he hadn’t of joined The Yardbirds, Jimmy Page would be in a similar situation to Vik Flick; perhaps even more unknown. After all, Vik Flick did play what is - probably - the most iconic movie-themed guitar-riff of all time!

RiP Vic, they payed him some 6 dollars to play the famous James Bond tune.
