I have to disagree. Just My Imagination from Hampton 81 is very good, but the Texas 78 version is even better. It's raw, has truly brilliant guitar interplay and Jagger's performance is at the very top.

Hampton 1981 is not that popular as you might think

PS. The list is a bit weird.

Everyone has their own opinion, but Hampton is not better thanseveral of their best shows from1972 -1973 starting with Brussels.Or for that matter from1969,1971, 1975, 1978 and1989Quote

Hampton 1981 to me is the Stones finest two hours of their entire career, with Imagination one of the most brilliant tracks. Wyman is utterly fantastic, the guitars are fantastic, I love the way Ernie Watts takes part of the interplay and weaving, Jagger's is at his best, and Charlie is sublime throughout the entire concert.

Ronnie was so wasted that it was a miracle that he was able to play and not to fall. It is great that he was able to quit drinking and has remained sober.Sorry to bring that up but each time I watch that show,I feel bad for Ron.
