The next output was a single in December from the Pistols/Thin Lizzy jamming band, The Greedy Bastards, otherwise known simply as The Greedies for this release. "A Merry Jingle" (Phonogram Records, Thin Lizzy's label) led to TV appearances on "Top Of The Pops" (transmitted 20th December) and the New Years eve "Will Kenny Everett make it to 1980?" show. Vilified in some quarters ("Is this what the Pistols' have become?") it was a lighthearted but enjoyable slice of rock & not intended to be taken too seriously.

This is a great christmas song

Also like Endelig Jul Igen with Gasolin´.

will you please remove that disgusting untalented KIM LARSEN from our rolling stones page. He doesn't belong here. The Stones are premiere league, while Larsen is in division 9 or something. Can't bear to see his awfull face! Run, Rudolph, and take that peasant with you!

Come on, you have to include Lennon's tune. I can even stand Yoko on that one. "Waaaarrrisower.."

Well, honestly I´m Uncle Scrooge too here.
The plingeling is to 99,8% disgusting.
And Christmas is overrated.

Actually from Satanic Majesties sessions there is an outtake called "Cosmic Christmas." It's just a whispering voice saying "Merry Christmas" followed by "I hate you."

Personally, I love U2's version of Baby please come home.

I think this one might be embarrassing, but I also like Billy Squier's song Christmas is the time to say I love you.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.
