Admit it, some of you older cats rocked out to Uriah Heep back in the day...If you've waited 55 years for the right moment to come along, its now or never.

The British progressive rock legends URIAH HEEP have announced the U.K. leg of their farewell tour, dubbed "The Magician's Farewell". The seven shows, which will launch on February 19, 2025 in Birmingham, will feature very special guests, Canadian legends APRIL WINE and U.S. melodic hard rockers TYKETTO.

Mick Box finally throws in the towel..

Saw Heep a few years ago near Vancouver opening for Judas Priest! Found out the lead singer is from Victoria on Vancouver Island! Also saw Heep in 83 opening for Def Leppard.

The first 3 albums before they went soft, that´s it.

Great band, great records (the different socalled eras with various line-ups all have some appeal to them).
One of the very few bands who would play ten songs off their new album that they might have.

Presumably you mean their third, fourth and fifth albums. They were kinda like Yes, it took a couple albums till they finally grew into their own, and then had several classics in a row.

Look At Yourself, Demons And Wizards, and The Magician's Birthday were all pretty solid. Agreed, from there beyond something like Stealin' there's not much of a value if you like rock.

I saw them at The Vogue theatre in Vancouver in 2018. Great show. Funny, setlist.fm says they played 'The Wizard' at that show and I have zero recollection of that.

I also met the lead singer's brother (or maybe brother-in-law) in Victoria a year or two ago when I bought a power amp off him. Lives in a nice house in the swanky part of town.

Sorry, no. I mean the admittedly not very mature "Very Eavy, Very Umble", plus "Salisbury" and "Look at Yourself". Especially "Salisbury" is great.

Some extremely groovy chicks in this Top of the Pops performance proving that you just cannot dance to Uriah Heep....
