OT: ISO software to rip audio from video files

I have some MP4 files I would like to rip the audio from. Can anyone offer me advice on doing this? Can anyone recommend a software program to do this? TIA

I use Audacity. Do a "FILE", "import audio" and then "File", "export audio". It will automatically strip the video upon import. I use a Mac, assume it works the same on Windows.

Just demux the mp4 file with MP4Muxer: [www.videohelp.com]
You get the original aac file from the mp4 file.

It might sound strange but for me the good old QuickTime Player still does the trick in many cases.

I use DVD audio extractor 5.2.3 - It works from DVDs and video files.
