Its a rehearsal.
I agree with this. Nothing to judge. I find it interesting theres no Noel backing vocals. Both those songs feature him prominently...
Hopefully, that's a sign of Noel focusing more on his playing! He's probably a little rusty, considering his been more of a 'strummer' in recent years. I'd love a return of the, Noel-led, 1994-'98 guitar-heroics.

I do believe these are the rehearsals for the Def Maybe tour last year, as the source is The Sun it's probably so

Doesn't this claim contradict what he said earlier when he said he had to message Liam or Noel and ask why he hadn't been offered to join for the tour?

…and more fun from the sounds of it. Who is this Waronker guy they chose. What is his previous relation to Oasis?

Thats why I'm asking as a long time Oasis admirer. How did HE get the gig? Who knew him? Did Michael Stipe recommend him? Zak is free and we have three weeks...

Waronker played on Liam’s 2024 album and tour with John Squire, you can see him drumming in that context here: [youtu.be]. He’s a great drummer, whether he’s a good fit for Oasis remains to be seen but I’m optimistic.

This version of Acquiesce is proper weird, the singing sounds like the original version until the second verse which is identical to the first and which is always sung live since late '95. A shame that Liam never sings the second verse as that is a very beautiful one indeed.
I do wonder if this is not a "Frankenstein job", a bit like our boys have done since the Exile reissue..?

Oh it absolutely is. I don’t think they’re hiding that. It’s not like they made it in 95, they just used the same vocal stems (and some of the studio banter).
I expect 50.000 with their cellphones up so there will be some good ones for sure hahaQuote

Is anyone attending tonight’s Cardiff show?
Hoping for some good recordings!

The thing with indie acts is that they got the women too - a mixed audience. They have the audience Sir Michael would have liked to have. They now have the right demographics too.
Money is seldom tight for people around 50. I'm sure this tour is even more important for the musicians in the band. They need the money even more than the Gallagher brothers.
