Very good performance by all accounts but no discernible interaction between the brothers on stage. They seem to be keeping it strictly professional.

There never was much interaction between them back in the days. The odd bit of aggro maybe!

Really impossible to argue with that setlist. Its as greatest hits victory lap set as you could ask from them. Most songs not played since 2001/2 and 2005 (they stopped touring in 09 so a lot had dropped from the set by then). Mostly the first two albums and The Masterplan collection of b sides.
I haven't seen a more perfect reunion setlist since KISS back in 1996.

Good to read
Just a thought: isn’t our very own ‘MadMax’ attending, tonight? If so, it’s mid-afternoon, here in the U.K. and definitely maybe about time the beer was flowing! ><

1996 was that Kiss's 1st farewell tour?

Nice one Al! Myself, I didn't touch the stuff for the whole day, just ate some nice food and drank a lot of water but then I had to get on a bus back to London and then the airport straight after the gig as the hotel room prices were a wee bit high for an unemployed lad like me. Mind you, I managed to get a great room the night before the show in central Cardiff for 80 quid which was great!

Just came back from Cardiff today. Great opening night, I had the best spot in the house at the rail rite in front of RKid slightly a bit inside Noel and Bonehead's side. I got an e-mail from ticketmaster on wednesday stating I had a Premier Standing which included early entry which made me a very happy boy so everything was smooth (it wasn't at all clear when I bought the tickets).
Noel and Andy recognised me from stage which was nice after all these years and Liam's hilarious as usual. When I stood my ground holding the rail against the tsunami of folks behind me he knocked on his head and made a crazy face with the tongue out and pointed at the crowd behind meBless.
Acquiesce, Some Might Say, Talk Tonight, D'You Know What I Mean and Cast No Shadow were the highlights IMHO. Somehow they managed to play Stand By Me EVEN slower than the recorded version which is some kind of feat. Mr Waronker did an alright job, I'd prefered Zak as I'm missing the more heavy beat of his.
They'll probably not mix up the setlist too much, if I should go after what Noel said back in 2006 regarding setlist changes.
The tour program is great too for a guitar manic like me as it describes all the equipment that is used. Fun Fun Fun!
