Perhaps I may be corrected by someone more knowledgeable, but I don’t think Oasis are renowned for mixing-up their set-lists much. I keep reading ‘tour set-list’; as if there is just the ‘one’, with no rotation. However, I do recollect getting ‘Whatever’ at the 2009 Wembley Stadium show I attended; a song they didn’t perform elsewhere on the tour; or at least not much.

What are the chances they choose a solo song to mix in? Noel goes backstage and Liam sings Paper Crown with the band.
Zero.

That’s not a lot. Maybe Greedy Soul then?

Columbia from DM will definitely get played.

This’ll be the first ‘retrospective’ Oasis set-list. I reckon we’ll get a reasonable mix of tracks, incorporating all periods. I predict ‘Stand By Me’ from Be Here Now; ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’ from Heathers Chemistry, etc. The only album I’m not so sure about is Dig Out Your Soul.
Here are the tracks from each album, that I think are possibilities:
Definitely Maybe:
Rock n’ Roll Star
Cigarettes and Alcohol
Live Forever
Supersonic
Slide Away
(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?
Wonderwall
Don’t Look Back in Anger
Some Might Say
Champagne Supernova
Hey Now (* Liam has apparently said so!)
Be Here Now
Stand By Me
Do You Know What I Mean (possibly)
Standing On The Shoulder of Giants
Go Let It Out
Heathen Chemistry
Little By Little
Stop Crying Your Heart Out
Don’t Believe The Truth
The Importance of Being Idle
Dig Out Your Soul
Out of Time?
Other tracks:
Acquiesce
Masterplan
Half The World Away
Whatever

I’d bet Lyla will be played from DBTT. I kind of hope they skip DOYS altogether.

I don’t know, Paddy. There’s so many choices, but I really think they’ll play it ‘safe’ by performing the absolute ‘musts’ and the bulk of their hit-singles, barring a few: She is Love; Songbird; Shock of The Lightning, etc.
Are you going to a show? Dublin, Toronto?

I had forgotten about Lyla. It's a bit of a 'plodder', but can imagine it being performed.
Yeah, I'm not going either, Paddy. As much as I know I'd enjoy the performance, I'm unsure if I could hack the GA; as I know I'd want to be 'amongst it', and not in the stands. It was great 2008, but now? It's fine at a Stones show, but the Oasis demographic? No, hopefully the concert film will be great. That's enough for me!

I’m not sure where I read or saw it but I think Columbia goes down as one of Liam/Noels favourite Oasis tunes, and it was such an era defining song back then also makes me think it’ll get an airing, but who knows! Like you said there’s so many choices. It’d be a great opener if they don’t play Acquiesce!
I’m not heading to any of the gigs Al, I’m not sure how I’d feel about going to see Oasis in 2025. I caught them 4 times between 95-96 and even when they came round after those years I never went. They’re one of the few bands I caught on the way up and at their peak and I don’t want to ruin those memories. Those singles and albums were a huge part of my teenage years and I think I prefer the memories. IF I hadn’t caught them first time round I would definitely be at one of these shows and buzzing to see them live for the first time.
(IF the circus does come to Van City, I’d probably just buy a ticket and sort out my feelings around it afterwards)

I really enjoyed 1998 as well with "Its Getting Better Man" being fantastic and never played again. Then 2000 had Oasis and Travis...c'mon...great great stuff

I still bought the albums but never saw them on the tours after 96, I do regret that as they were still a great live band into the 2000s. I did see Travis back then though and they were indeed great. It was really cool to see Liam & Bonehead after 20 odd years when Liam opened for the Stones in 2018. Bonehead was essential as a fan back in the day, he was the everyman in the band and a Bez like figure in ways.

I really dug "What's The Story" and waited fevereshly for BHN like everyone only to be mostly disappointed and it was downhill from there...I cauight them live in 2002 in a small venue and it was disappointing, horribly loud and a bit of a snoozefest TBH. I guess they had already stopped getting along so that didn't help but Noel still had zero charisma. Saw him solo in 2015, it was ok. Liam was a lot better in 2020 as well as with Squire. Not buying into the whole "reunion" at all.

I was working in a slaughterhouse that summer and all morning on the radio “the new oasis single will be played at 3pm today” over and over until we finally gathered around the radio at 3pm to hear Dya Know What I mean. Some didn’t like it immediately whereas I did, and I think I might have been one of the few who also really liked Be Here Now when it came along a few weeks later. It’s still a great album to my lugs.

The drums are awful, I really hope they give Zak a call but I guess it's a bit late in the game.

You think, Max? They sound ‘OK’ to my ears, though this is a fairly poor recording from outside the studio. Still, it’s exciting! Fade Away! They’re digging-out B-sides for us!

Some comments say it's Liam's band rehearsing last year.

I agree with this. Nothing to judge. I find it interesting theres no Noel backing vocals. Both those songs feature him prominently...
