Noel on lead guitar is something else. He is going to be like a caged animal let loose knowing he has Gem and Bonehead alongside him to do this at all Oasis gigs. It's wonderful to see and hear.

Ticketless Oasis fans find a way to enjoy the gigs for free on "Gallagher Hill"

There’s a video, somewhere, on YouTube about this. I think it’s great to see!
Actually, there were a handful - less than Heaton Park - doing something similar before the Stones’ most recent Hyde Park gigs. The Oasis lot make it seem like a proper gathering.

I think Liam sounds great. I have always thought that Liam is/was a proper R&R frontman, loud, obnoxious, but always a great singer.
Their songs are anthemic, short, and very English.
The only criticism IO could level at them is that Noel's songs may seem like they mean something, but really don't.

That's a funny take mate, they do mean a lot to me.
Acquiesce, Live Forever, (I Got) The Fever, My Big Mouth, The Masterplan, Cast No Shadow and Stay Young especially.
Even a song like Champagne Supernova is actually quite clever when you've worked out that the line (no pun intended) "..slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball, where were you while we were getting high?" is about when you're drunk and charlied at a party. You move slowly but your mind is racing.
Very clever indeed

Noel spotted using public transport... again!
Not a bug deal, really. He's said, before, that he uses buses and tubes.

I find it really weird that the Mail finds him using public transport to be noteworthy

Well Mate, good thing about it that 80% of that rags readers will be pissed off just like The Times' and Guardian's. I appreciate that the Guardian's readers at least respect Bob Dylan but they know NISH about Rock n Roll. Always complaining at Stones and Oasis for some JEALOUS reason

I know ya’ll are doing your own thing here but I thought I’d ask my stupid question again…
Colombia is an anthem. I guess it’s been forgotten about. When Liam is singing “ this is confusion…” who is the low baritone voice singing along with him?

I suspect it’s Noel.
Anyway, it is indeed an anthem. Reportedly, it was heard being performed during a soundcheck at one of the Wembley shows. Oasis aren’t known for mixing-up their set-lists, though they have, in the past, added the odd song during a tour. Whatever, for example, was performed a handful of times during the latter-stages of their Dig Out Your Soul tour, after being absent through the rest of the run.
