He was a great actor.He made a movie with Marianne Faithful when she was with Jagger.

A legend indeed - he was a leading figure in a golden age of french cinema.

RIP

He was an icon of the classic era of french cinema. And he was able to play a man with its hard side and emotions. And humor. And he was handsome. The dream of many women.

I just watched this classic French/Italian thriller called "Icy Breasts" 1974, starring Delon, his new wife Mirielle Darc , and Nicolletta Machievelli. Please watch it!!

Delon was one of the smartest in the film business ever since he joined and conquered it in the late 1950s, a true free-thinking spirit of the dying kind... not one of his many and colorful movie roles came close to the depth and wealth of his own original character.

question-and-answer sequence with the TV presenter Bernard Pivot,
the actor was asked: “If God exists, what would you like to hear
him say to you after your death?”

Without hesitation, Delon replied:
“Since this is your greatest and deepest regret, I know, come,
I’ll take you to your father and mother, so that for the first
time, at last, you can see them together.”

In Japan where I grew up, roughly from the 60s through the 70s, he was synonymous with a handsome Westerner man. Women fancied him.

My favorite film starring Delon is Les Aventuriers (1967).

Adieu l'ami.

Growing up I never knew the truth about women, that is, what they prefer. The pictures seem to be "from the time I was thirteen". If I knew, well then..., all courage to live would have been taken out of me. Well, we got fed by this through movies and TV series throughout the 70s. The German "Derrick" series had a big impact. The villains showed how a man should look.
