We are fixing to go check out the area and get the general idea of where exactly the venue is. May not be able to get too close but we will see. Rain has fallen overnight it seems and hopefully by late afternoon it will be clear skies. Very nice temps outside this morning and it should be very comfortable at the concert with much cooler temperatures than one might expect for late July.

Wow...last day of the tour.

Anyone with a few hours to kill, the Bass Pro flagship store next to the big aquarium is a pretty astonishing theme park of sorts. Live gators, guns, and everything you didn't think you needed but maybe you do.

Not surprising. No one I spoke to in Springfield knew about the concert, or showed the slightest interest when I told them. Except for the Uber driver who now hopes to cover a few months of mortgage payments.

Hey, like the man himself reminds us every show, "War, children..."
The proprietor has helped millions of customers "prep." While there today, if you want to you can, too.

What a weird situation, in multiple ways, for our band to be in today.

But that's on Stones Inc., it's not fans' fault. At the end of the day it's a Stones concert.

At least they had a little fun with their situation, in the art for it.

Just got back to motel after checking out Thunder Ridge arena, traffic not bad getting there but this afternoon and evening is sure to be a different story. I did see about 10 cars lined up to get into one of the entrances that didn't seem to have any security people. All the other entrances I seen did have security keeping cars out. Looks like we will head out around 4 or so and hopefully we can avoid any major delays in getting there. I believe our motel is about 10 miles from the outdoor venue.

Good luck to those attending, looks like it might be a hassle based on reports of previous concerts there...

So far much easier here from Branson easier than getting to Springfield. Parked near entrance and sitting in line after clearing security.

My wife and I will be leaving around 4pm headed to the show, wearing my IORR shirt so give me a shout out if you see me there. Looking forward to seeing a great show as usual.

Is there a chance there was no soundcheck? Indy 2015 there was no soundcheck because of the venue. Not sure this venue is soundcheck friendly either.

Heard Street Fighting Man, Whole Wide World, Let It Bleed, Angry, and some heavy harp/drum song without guitars that I didn't recognize, sounded a bit like Rambler.
