The "German Keith Richards" R.P.S. Lanrue died on 14 July. The guitarist, composer and founder of the German band Ton Steine Scherben was the musical head and part of the songwriting duo with Rio Reiser, who died 30 years ago. Now the two can play together in heaven their song Land in Sicht.

Sad news... just read about it this morning. I was glad to see Lanrue live with Rio in 1986 at the Wartesaal in Köln and 2014 together with Kai Sichtermann and Funky Götzner again in Köln (I think they called the band Scherben Family). Always loved Lanrue's guitar playing and yes... he had his own sound but very similar to Keith!
