Ronnie's "SETLISTS"...yea or nay?

You must have seen them by now, a hand painted setlist of every show.

Are you into these things?

They are unique, and I guess maybe a neat keepsake of the show you went to.

Are you buying them, and if so, which ones have you got?

Do you pin then up, put them in a frame, leave them in their tube?

I bought the NYC Racket Show as I was into everything Hackney last fall.

It is kind of cool!

July 4th show in Prague back in 2018. It was an exciting show with a good set list (Under my Thumb was in there) - it’s framed on my wall along with a few other show posters. I like it.

They used to be interesting when he added local things of interest on them. Seems now they're just lists. Anyhow, maybe special to some people. Actually I bought 2 of them through the years.

If he lowered the price down to $50, he would probably sell more. I think the biggest complaint in the past was the shipping tunes his team used to ship the lothos was a lot less in quality compared to the ones the Stones use to ship their lithos. That may be fixed now though. $100 is maybe just steep enough for me to where I don't buy them. If they were $50, they would be a nice alternative if your city had a weak Litho.

I just take screen shots on my cell. Good enough for me! Same as the tour posters.

He refuses to spell Tumbling Dice correctly.

I can't pay for that.

I'm trying my best to only buy posters for gigs that truly mean something to me (I must love the artwork too). It goes on my wall or I don't get it at all. Ronnie's set lists don't do it for me unfortunately.

I have one from Hyde park 2013 frames and on my wall with other posters - looking at this now there was more effort than recent ones it looks, nice tree etc. don’t feel the need for more than one and I didn’t get a show poster on the day

Also, bit pricey I’ve picked up a couple of lovely shoe posters from other bands that were limited quantities (the national and pearl jam) for 35 quid each (50 dollars or so)

Nay, wouldn't mind though if Ronnie gave all the money from the Setlists to the teenager cancer trust or something.

Got the one from St. Louis, first show without Charlie.

Actually my wife got it for me as a gift, and I mysteriously received a second one days later. I thought they messed up the order but a buddy of mine sent it.

Since I took my son to the show, had them both framed and he has his in his apartment at college and I have one in my home office.

Don't think I'll buy anymore though we'll see how significant the Ridgedale show may be.

Got one from Dublin 2018. I like it with its shamrock at the top. I doubt there will be another one with Neighbours on it! It's framed in my hallway.

I can't recall why I didn't get the one from my home city of Edinburgh. The gigs were close together.

I must have a good reason for choosing Dublin I suppose confused smiley

I received by birthday years ago from a friend this of Mexico Olé, and i think is cool and rare because he painted something differnt, not just a sun in the corner as usual....

So I've grabbed the Vancouver one now. I figure I went to the concert, so there's that...plus I'm pretty sure that's the last Vancouver show we'll ever see.

How sad!

Someone wise once told me that it's an optical illusion and the t shirt isn't actually shrinking. It's just that you're getting fatter.

That goose was let go a long time ago. My STEEL WHEELS large t-shirt from 1989 is not equivalent to a large t-shirt in 2024. It shrunk. I'm also a little bigger than I was then but I'm not fat by any means, just Hulked up.

How can LSTNT change from G to Gm from Mexico 2016 until today, Ronnie ? Are the setlists blindly copied from somewhere else ? Is Ronnie aware of the changes ? I'm baffled.

I can't help feeling that this is just another way of taking the money out of the fans' pockets.

Soon you will be able to buy canned farts from the band members. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

But if then again.. If it makes people happy to spend their hard-earned money on it, who am I?

Yeah, I hear ya. I'm really "Hulked up" using the 1989 metric, which BTW I actually own a 1989 tongue shirt I bought at one of the two Vancouver shows I went to, and wore it to the Vancouver show last week.

Image stuffing sausage into the casing. It turned a lot of girls heads...but not in a good way.

It's called the market and the Stones didn't invent it. People are then free to buy or not buy and the market usually adapts.
Personally I'm not a fan of these things and I don't spend my money like that, but if I had a lot of it it's possible that I would buy it too.

I don’t know, $100 for some magic marker doodle seems a bit much. As well as saying they’re hand painted, it’s magic marker…something anyone can do in an office conference room.
