I am happy England won since it's time for 3 Lions to win another trophy after all these years but VAR is sh**e and has destroyed football. Koeman is 100 procent correct.
It's more like a pseudo sport nowadays. 7-8 mins of xtra time etc etc.

Oh yeah, the other nations in the UK loathe the English, especially behind a ball. And especially the Scottish. Still, I relished their abject 6-0 defeat in the opening round, so all is fair in love and fandom.
England played well last night but Spain were better - if England deserved to win they would have scored in that final flurry in the Spanish goal.

England only starts playing football after the opposing team scores a goal.
Until then, all they do (with the wonderful players they have, so much more is the
pity) is trying to keep the other team from scoring.
If only England would always play like they did in the second half against Spain, they
would have an unbeatable team.

Whilst I enjoyed the final game, and the best side did win, it had nothing on last night's Copa America Final.

Yeah, but there are a lot of good things about being a Scotland fan.

Scotland don't have that weight of expectations [realistic or otherwise], the fans support them, appreciate the effort and successes they do achieve.... and have a bloody good time doing it.

It's a game of football for goodness sake...it should be fun

All UK fans should appreciate the the unique richness brought to our game by the
history of competition between the "home nations" .

Nobody else has this . Imagine if there were a separate Breton team from France...or a Catalan team from Spain. Wouldn't be much different to our set up from a cultural or "tribal" point of view.

I watched some of the celebrations in Madrid last night. Morata would earn good living as entertainer. I was impressed.
