it does beg the question when (or if) Asia, LATAM or Australia will get a tour

There could be a solution: if they play Europe 2025 in May-July like in 2018, then they could play Europe again in autumn 2026 (like in 2017). Asia/Oceania before in March 2026. South America has probably to wait until their economical/political issues are solved.

According the 2025 schedule, may be European Tour Second Part in 2026, same as 2017/2018.

(…).

I wouldn't bet on either option.
2017 was basically Europe minus UK
2018 was basically UK plus a couple of shows in Europe
2022 was Europe+UK and 2025 will be the same

Europe vs. UK was not what I meant - I was just looking at when Asia/Oceania might be possible.

Poor LATAM

AC/DC last played South America in 2009 and their previous South American tour was in 1996. And the Rolling Stones Exhibitionism/Unzipped visited most Stones markets - except South America.

So, when the day comes to buy tickets, what "time" will they go on sale? Will it be at 10am local time for each venue? So, Paris would be 4am EST?

While I'm making plans to come over from Texas U.S.A. and spending more money than my salarty should allow, it just occured to me.Do the electronic tickets bought in the States and stored on my phone work effortlessly in Europe? I'm not a fan of electronic tickets as I had a very hard time ( and the ticket taker too) finding the tickets in New Orleans. Experiences? Thanks so much in advance.

I don't want to to always rely on those my self and I always print them as a back up to my cellphone tickets.

Ticketmaster has gone universal now - I bought tix in Europe and used in the USA without problem. You need signal though, as the tickets auto-refresh and you can't use a screenshot/pdf.

Not all tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster though. Especially Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain will mostly be sold through the Eventim group. There you have the option for paper tickets and in Germany maybe even no option for mobile ones.

I just look at the concerts listed in July at the Stade de France. It Will tough to get a 2nd date there as Lynkin Park perform on Saturday 11th and BTS on Sa 26 and Sun 27 of that month.

Good point. Eventim's postage charges for outside Germany (and maybe Switzerland?) are astronomical though - 30-40 Euros!

That is not my experience. Had a lot of problems with DE Eventim, but not this one.

Yes it's true...

Wadbuhne 15,90 euro for 2 tickets
Munchen 15,90 euro for 2 tickets

Might be more expensive to other countries (talking about NL) or they raised prices in 2025, but to be honest I find 16 euro's not to bad.

34 euros international shipping to UK from Eventim, Depeche Mode Cologne 2024.

You're right, they band their shipping costs. Countries next Germany aren't too bad, but UK has always been very expensive (and was pre-brexit, so that's not the cause).

some 20 years ago ticketmaster US made me pay an additional fee of some $17 to be able to print my ticket at home…

EVENTIM has a service called EVENTIM.Pass and it allows you for 0 Euro to get a mobile ticket on the Eventim App. I just tested with Robbie Williams. Of course the Rolling Stones might choose to not offer this service - but I doubt it.

Am I correct to assume that none of these venues will have seats on the floor? Fly 8 hours across the ocean to take my changes in the Pit?

2017, 2018 and 2022 the German shows had seats on the floor similar to the US setup since 2019 but with a slightly larger GA.

make sure that you arrive at least 24 hrs before you have to enter the venue – otherwise your jetlag's gonna kill you
