but not with 4 London shows this year etc.

I only see 2 here: [iorr.org] . And there're no other shows listed in their home country yet.

I was referring to all these speculations about multiple shows in Carfiff, Glasgow, wherever, and that DailyMail article quoted aboveā€¦

Needs to be a show in GLASGOW please please please spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Not played Glasgow since 2007 !!!!!!!

Not played Scotland (Edinburgh) since 2018 !!

Founder of the band Ian Stewart was born in Scotland....

It's hopefully not the last tour, but one final trip north across the border would be really appreciated Mick, Keith & Ron.

And they haven't played Aberdeen since 1982!

Dundee? Inverness? grinning smiley

They haven't played Hamilton (my hometown) since 1964. A fair bit of trouble at that show so not surprised they haven't been back. Apparently Bill remembers it!

It was 2006 when they last played Glasgow - at Humpdump (Hampden).

Well, they've ignored the great towns of the U.K. since 1965, really! It's quite something to think back to a time when the Rolling Stones were likely to stop-off for a performance at your local Granada or Odeon cinema. All you had to do in 1964, was have a stroll to your local High Street to catch Mick and Keith. How time changed.

They played Stafford & Leicester in 1976. But since the hectic early touring years of 1963-67 when they frequently did shows in cinemas & theatres in mid size towns, it's pretty much been big cities only in the UK. And they're ours sad smiley

Reindeers ?

You wouldn't want to eat Rudolph, now would you?

Would be very tasty on my smoker.

Are we already speculating on a 2026 tour?

the UK part of 2018 No Filter tour (8 shows in the UK) is a clear reminder that the market in the UK is not big enough for more than a couple of shows (unless they change their habit of concentrating on large open air venues

They sold well though, didn't they?

IMO, they should play more shoes in the U.K. out of principal! They're bloody British, after all! Can't sell-out multiple stadium shows? Play arenas! Grr!

Which do you think is best to get to and from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and also access to and from London centre.

Why not trying the help of Google/Bing/Apple maps?

Because THIS is the REAL Stones world where fans help each other with real Stones environs. Well, others with knowledge do.

I'm only kidding, of course. Truly, if the demand isn't quite there, then it isn't warranted.

No, no, just 2025 part 2, in a year's time. Completely different.

2018 was a great tour. I lucky dipped all 8 UK shows and ended up in the Pit at 3 of them and GC at one more. So good to see them do the likes of Southampton & Coventry (my 1st LD Pit, accompanied by my sister attending her only ever Stones gig to date).

It really was. It was a such a pleasant and unexpected surprise when they announced Coventry and Southampton; two cities that, dare I say, some none-Brits amongst us may never of even heard of before: London, Manchester, yeah; but little old Southampton?

No, no, just 2025 part 2, in a year's time.

Some European countries are missing on the 2025 tour list - [iorr.org] - while other countries get more shows.

Paul McCartney played in 2024 only in UK, France and Spain. Maybe the other countries next?

The 2024 AC/DC tour had more shows in Germany than in other countries and there're rumours about another AC/DC tour of Europe.

So 'part 2' seems not impossible ....

Indeed! A club career that spanned from 1966-1997(?), and a twenty-year international career. What a legend! I saw him warm-up pre-match in 1995, when briefly on loan to West Ham. That was at White Hart Lane, actually!

I have added this list with links to cities for the tour in the first post of this thread. Also, the city links are available in the IORR European Tour 2025 table, through the city names there.

The tour is NOT announced yet. Still, it should be possible to discuss travel, accomodation, and other details of the cities they are expected to tour this summer.

PS. There is a bit of work to do all these threads and links. If you spot an error technically then please e-mail me. Thanks.

The Sixty tour was announced on a Monday and there was a little over eleven weeks between the announcement and the tour kicking off. If the timings are the same we may not get an announcement until week commencing 17th February.

the very fact that you get 3x Pit is somehow an indicator that tickets didn't sell that well. In fact, some two weeks before the tour kicked off more LD tickets went on sale

One show in Paris probably on Sat July 19. Possible 2nd Paris show around July 16 if the first show sell fast.

I have added rumoured dates of Barcelona and London. There have been two gerenations of tour date lists around. It has been hard to see what was the old dates, and what was the revised dates, as all sources have been reliable. I have posted the dates I trust most as rumoured, and the dates I think were the older ones in parantehsis (), just in case people want to be 100% sure about hotel bookings and travel plans. All dates are from multiple sources, so they should be reliable.

Also, reliable sources say there will be 14 shows only; if one show is added, then another show will have to go. I assume they announce just some of the shows first, and then the 2nd shows are announced later. This is not unusual. When the 2013 shows in USA were announded, Philly had 3 dates. Then Philly sold slow, so the 3rd Philly was changed to Washington. One loose, another win. That is the game.

So if a city with 2 shows sells slowly, does this mean a city not on the list will get a show ?
