The idea with the G'n'R stage from two days earlier is so obvious that it could very well be true. Sometimes history does repeat itself.

That would put to Vienna dates on the 26th and 29th July (guessing one rest day less if they stay in the same city as well)

I think you will be correct , 2 days after the Guns n Roses show ,just like 2022,and the 2nd show on the 29th or 30th

Is it known why the Stones have chosen to break their 14-17 gig structure and are now doing 20 shows each tour? Are they maybe forced to by the concert industry as a result of high insurance / organizing prices and fees? It seems like they were were comfortable with around 14 shows from 2014-2022.

Wow, 48 pages now of hoping, dreaming, guessing, demanding and then finally onwards from page 38 the first real rumors since 10th of June emerging into BV's "rumored shows". It's a funny process. Like "Tour Pregnancy"- after long and exhausting but also happy and foreseeing nine month we finally will have a new tour-baby, with cities, venues and dates, with arms, eyes and legs.

Back then they posted a teaser video a couple of days before the announcement, showing a map of Europe with the tongue logo on top of the cities they were supposed to play. One of the logos was on top of Helsinki. But when the dates were announced, Helsinki was dropped.

really? I thought Gelsenkirchen was rumored early on (though not on IORR) and I also think it was on marked on the map shown in the teaser video

and because it was on a French website I immedetely believed the rumor to be true. Who in France would made up a fake rumor about a show in Gelsenkirchen as a part of a tour that only included capitals and/or important cities?

A lot of concerts tend to be on the weekend but the last one (Mylene Farmer) was on a Tuesday.

I thought the 15 shows was something Charlie insisted on.

Seems to me the reason the reason they do the small venue shows with fixed stages at the end of the tour is those are gravy shows as a lot of the crew and equipment is sent home by then.

But even super high ticket prices, 2 shows a week for a tour at this scale has to be challenging to turn the kind of profits everyone expects. It might work for third tier legacy acts doing the casino fly ins with guitars, pedals, 4 roadies and a container of T shirts but dozens of trucks, buses, private jets and the like is costing millions a week so it's possible the break even point got moved up a bit.

in 2014 they skipped London because they did two shows in London in late 2013. And in 2017 they didn't do any UK shows because they had a massive UK tour in the pipe for 2018.
I guess it's different this time because I don't think they're couting on doing yet another European/UK tour in 2026
