Elland road would be a better venue for a third UK show.Queen played there during the Hot Space tour.A great venue.Late July for the finale of this European tour.
Next a bit of rest, recording and then a February 26 kick off in Argentina.Perfect sense.

The Stones played in the North West in 2018 (Manchester) and 2022 (Liverpool), an adjacent area to Yorkshire, but have not done in the North East for eons. The last concert in the area is Newcastle (St James’ Park) 1990. They have not catered for the district for 35 years, be it the Geordies or the Mackems.

And last time they played in Scotland is Edinburgh 2018. It should be the Glaswegians’ turn if the Stones set foot on the Scottish soil again. They played there last time in 2006 (Hampden Park). Don’t think they have been christened with the Glasgow chant that is a relatively recent phenomenon at the local rock concert…

“Here we, here we, here we fxxkin’ go!”

Risingstone I would take a Glasgow or Edinburgh show….always great audiences up there. We might get Keef doing another version of “I’ll take the high road. What a hoot that was.

Sunderland seems to get the larger tours in the north east (Springsteen, pink etc) rather than st James park (only recent gigs at the latter have been local boy done good Sam Fender- he’s doing 3 nights in June)

Last Yorkshire gigs were the Sheffield don valley stadium (voodoo, bridges and bigger bang tours) but that’s been demolished since. Before that, Leeds roundhay in 1982

Looking at the 14ish limit I’d guess missing show somewhere in mainland Europe rather than northern england tho

Sevilla added!

"Bucharest and 2x Vienna rumoured shows not listed, due to tour changes mid Jan 2025"

Bucharest would have been cool

since the list of rumors has been completed, now we need to understand what the announcement date will be...

Does anyone have any rumors or information?

I can't believe this is the final Tour plan with auch large gaps in between. Either they squeeze them together or add more shows.

large gaps? where do you see them? There's one between either between the two London shows or between London and Berlin and another between Munich and Paris. Both of these gaps are just leave room for only one show each

beside that: I still wonder if Barcelona – Lisbon – Seville is the correct running order. Lisbon - Seville – Barcelona makes more sense

I am doubtful that with so few tour dates overall (even with 20) that they would play Lisbon AND Seville. I wouldn’t be surprised if the only shows in Spain+Portugal were in Lisbon OR Barcelona. They have a lot of ground to cover on this tour.

If you count between Kopenhagen and Paris there's room for 9 Shows if they play every 4 days but only 6 shows rumoured in that period. I don't think they'll have three breaks at the end of the tour. That's why I think they'll either squeeze them together or add 2 shows there.

I think Paris would be a top place for a second show

Spain promotor going loco.

Well if the layout is a bit like on bvs tour page this looks more like 18ish dates - otherwise too many long breaks.

Re: The Rolling Stones European Tour 2025 rumors
Posted by: syrel ()
Date: January 18, 2025 15:55

Remember BV floated the idea of some recording sessions during the tour. That would explain gaps.

Re: The Rolling Stones European Tour 2025 rumors
Date: January 18, 2025 16:05

I think we will have a gap after Rome/before AMS 1. And then a second break before, in between or after London shows.

That would mean 2 venues to be anounced, depending on Berlin being 4th or 8th (the other date needs to be filled) and the 16th. And maybe gigs after Paris. This would add up to 16 shows of wich 14 would be anounced (I think they will announce london 1 and 2, but not the other gigs where there are 2 in a city)

Spain promotor going loco.

Spain was Europe's best performing rich economy in 2024.
Southern France will feed in to Barcelona.
There's been a lot of immigration from South America into Spain recently, and lots will travel over for BCN/Sevilla/Lisboa, brilliant stuff.

1.bv says: "some breaks during the tour" (= not just one)
2. let's look at bv's list:
June 17 Copenhagen
June 21
June 25
June 29
July 3
July 7
July 12 Munich
July 16
July 20 Paris
Assuming that there will be at least one break there's room for five shows. Three of them are: London I+II and Berlin. Thus we might expect max. two more shows to be announced – unless there are more breaks…
My guess is that they add a second show in Paris (on or around July 16th) any – maybe – annother UK show but nothing more

3. I don't see any real gap between Rome and Amsterdam (assuming that Rome will be May 30 or 31

So the redemption for Helsinki and Warsaw, the aborted tour destinations for 2022, won’t happen after all? What a shame.

So far, it seems that the tentative tour planning is going dismissive of central/eastern Europe and most of Scandinavia except Copenhagen.

Yeah that is a let down. Guess maybe they're still wary of the whole war situation.

It is a shame, Warsaw would be great, Bucharest mentioned by bv on the tour page also would be cool.

Indeed, it looks like we don't deserve any show in Scandinavia and Central Europesad smiley Really a shame (if this schedule is true).
They haven't play in Norway also, since 2014...
