Because of the rather limited number of shows played annualy during the last 12 years, I find it quite strnage that there are strong rumours about both Vienna and Prague (+ 2 shows in Germany). Too many shows in one area. The last time they played both Prague and Vienna was in 2003. I would bet on Vienna, it will be much easier to sell tickets in Austria than in the Czech Rebublic. The show in Prague in 2018 was faaaar away from a sell-out, if I remeber it correctly, they didn't even build some of the tribunes on the field. I would love to be wrong, since for me Prague is by far the closes place, but I am not holding my breath.

The Letnany is an open field so selling it out is impossible (at least with reasonable number of tickets). The 2018 show in Prague had over 65K people and still was one of the biggest shows of that tour.

2018: Prague. Maybe not sold out, but a lot of people!!

BCN might could slot in after SDF.

London?

Yup.

June? 2 shows or more?

It always rains in London, the women are ugly and the food is bad.

(…)

two of these statements are true (unless you count Indian, Chinese, Italian food as London food)

Guessing it'll be too soon for the 'new' Spotify Camp Nou... Olympic stadium again?

Hopefully Lisbon too then..

Yes, please Lisbon, or maybe Coimbra. That's a great little historic town.

Barca is slated to move in by mid-Feb, so that could work. Last home match 18/05...

True, the Letnany venue is an open field (an airport, actually), but there have been everal sold-out shows - Rammstein, Imagine Dragons... (both of those sold it out twice on subsequent nights). Sure, the space itself is larger, but they have some maximum layout for gigs, which is for aprox. 80.000 people

Please no. That was a nightmare getting back from there. I got the last Metro to central Paris and had to walk all the way to Gare dui Nord. The only good thing was that I drew Pit A tickets in the Lucky Dip.

Now that I secured a Glasto ticket for next year, I selfishly hope the boys will be back to the farm after 12 years!

In the past, how easy has it been to get face value pit tix in Paris or Rome closer to the show date? Are ticket drops as common as the US?

Small

But they put on every ticket on sale directly, not like the us. Also everything is face value

At least i hope it stays this way

sometimes some (sold out) tickets (re-)appear shortly one or two weeks before shows but I wouldn't count on that

Is it confirmed somehow that the show in Paris is at the Stade de France. It’s the sole stadium in Paris where they can pack 80 000 people for a farewell concert. Longchamps was a huge mistake: too small, poor sound, poor ambiance. Do remember that they were the first évent to open SdF in 1998. They always were great there.

To answer: if you are online a lot it is easy / not too hard to buy tickets a few days before a show:

In Munich you could get tickets no problem 1-2 days before the show - legal, online, face value.

In Paris there were PIT tickets available online, legal, face value 2-3 days before the show as well in 2022. Also folks from IORR posted about LD for sale / to split.

What does this mean? They release all available seats/PIT on first day of sale?
Thanks in advance

Never again at Longchamp for me either. The hike was brutal to and from the entrance.

in paris 2022 give the Stones credit for finding a venue
The final stage of the Tour de France in paris was the day after the paris show.
La Defense Arena would be smaller crowd
Stade de France had coldplay and lady gaga shows
longchamp had the infrastructure from lollapalooza the weekend before
