I really hope they don't play Hyde Park. I don't like the venue and the sound volume was very low the last time. I really enjoyed London Stadium. Hope to See them there again.

There was also a rumour that Springsteen would be playing in Greece next summer, but that didn't pan out.

Remember a few pages back that you all had a good laugh about Mykonos?
Apparently, it’s not a joke anymore. Well not Mykonos, but Athens.
I don’t have a specific date on it but there were talks, they reached an agreement but they had trouble insuring the concert cause of the band’s age. (Which makes total sense and probably because it’s just a promoter in Greece and not Live Nation to afford spending big bucks on such a big fee). Given that the promoter shared a RS song on his Facebook profile out of nowhere and in public (he usually does that to tease) and in combination of the info I got, they probably found a solution and sealed the deal.
For now it’s just a rumor that nobody has picked up yet from the media outlets. Although some radio producers commented on his post.
They wanted a big name for 2025 and they discussed with both Springsteen and Rolling Stones following last year’s Coldplay massive success. Springsteen didn’t happen for various reasons including financial reasons while Rolling Stones were stuck at the insurance of the concert part, with no major concerts on the horizon for the Greek audience in 2025 if both attempts failed.
The partner of him on national TV said a few years back that her biggest bet was to book Rolling Stones after the 2006 cancellation.

I am just amazed at how much there is going on that we do not know about. Hundreds of calls and emails and negotiations - and I bet Mick is somehow involved in all of it. I just really hope it happens. Athens, Paris - whatever. I keep my finger crossed for a European Hackney Diamond 2025 tour.

Saw David Gilmour recently in Circo Massimo - spectacular venue (although for Gilmour scalled down to approx. 13k and all seated). It would be the perfect spot (unless you are far in the back).

As it seems, an expected U2 stadium tour won't happen in 2025.

BST hydepark have announced 4 gigs so far (including ELO).
There are still two very nice gaps on Saturday 5th July and.... Saturday July 12th - bit of history there!
No inside info, but I think it's not an outrageous guess...

Regarding the Rome location, as far as I know, this time round should be Stadio Olimpico.
