Italy, Spain, France and Austria should be on every tour in Europe. Then add Portugal. Then add UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland - Bern, Germany more than one show, and now it is time for both Denmark, Norway and Finland. Keep you calendar open for summer 2025 in Europe, and, they might start already spring time, if they are coming to Europe from the Far East.
Why Austria? I would guess the 'must-visit' countries are: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands. The last one, because of selfish reasons

I base my posts on inside info I get, and not on random dreams.

okay chief, all good. But you say 'should be on every tour'. That seems more an opinion than a fact or inside info (?). Nevertheless: all countries are good. Traveling distances are never far.

i could see mick and keith sitting on stools and doing a few songs if there both alive and able in 2032 for the 70th anniversary
why not
if willie nelson can perform in his 90's so can mick and keith if they want to
i think mick will continue performing for the rest of his life in some way
but the stones tours will have to stop eventually 2-3 years absolute max in my opinion
dosen't mean they'll stop performing at all
or the last show was the last show ever
why are some people so interested and annoyed at other people having potentially unrealistic opinions about there future endeavors as a band?
so what
what's the worst that happens there wrong hate to tell everyone this but most of the guess about what there gonna do next made on this site over the last few decades have been wrong in hindsight
so why must people stop now because there 80?
well they were 50 60 70 etc. etc. it's over when it's over let's just let people enjoy the ride while it last
No annoyance here mate! Interest yes, Annoyance no. We are fans! Having a range of opinions, different points of view, challenging each other, having a laugh about it - its all part of fandom.
The thought of Mick and Keith doing some kind of front-porch rocking-chair schtick fills me with horror. After all the energy, swagger and 'in-yer face-ness' The Stones brought into our world, to subside in that way would be a huge anti-climax. But I'm not saying this in anger. If it happens and others love it, then good luck to 'em. But it ain't for me...
ok i see that and agree with you
but my comment about the stool was about them in there 90's for some kind of one off event to celebrate the 70th anniversary not a tour or even a full show
maybe a couple blues songs on the stools and then they stand up and do jjf and satisfaction
and i understand and respect your distaste for that idea
but mick and keith probably don't think or care about how there performing now or in ten years affects there legacy or reflects on there younger selves they may just wanna perform because they wanna perform
Quote
Indeed sir. I completely agree. Stuff like legacy matters hugely to nerds like me. I've been a fan since I was twelve years old and tend to be very protective of the London/Decca era Stones. But then everyone who is a Stones fan is probably a fan of a different version of the band. After all each fan has their own individual relationship with The Stones. The band members would go nuts trying to keep us all happy. So they will probably aim for the largest common denominator, and season that with a pretty large helping of their own personal wishes.
And who can blame them...

I think the North America 2024 tour was 20 shows because of the expenses they had with the planned 2023 tour, which was 14 shows planned, then taken off same week as they planned to announce it.
They do normally one show in the Nordic region, then two in Germany. Bern is like 90% for sure because they are loyal to previous plans, but we all know what happened to Valladolid Spain, never resheduled.
What we do know is that the tour in Europe will be a great success, so just start preparing your family to a summer in Europe that will fit into the Stones tour schedule!

I do have info about booked stadiums, but they are not signed by a contract with the band, so there is no point in starting rumours
Like Adele did with her 10 shows in Munich. Maybe they could perform 7 shows in London and 7 in one city on the continent. Less traveling, cheaper poduction etc.Quote

Semi-OT but when things really come to an end they could do a multiple-dates residency in a London venue.
Instead of bringing the Stones circus in one's country they could settle in one place and let fans come to them.

Why Austria? Because the show there attracts fans not only from Austria but also from surrounding countries such as Hungary, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, etc., or even - depending on where in Austria - northern Italy, or also Germany.

I do hope Central-Eastern Europe will get a well-deserved show, either in Warsaw or Prague.

Have the Stones ever done a residency since their Crawdaddy Club and Eel Pie Island days? That's not to say that they never would, but it doesn't seem to be their preferred style.
