Is it too much to ask for another Zeppelin reunion?

I don't think it would move the needle as much, but maybe Simon and Garfunkel? Black Sabbath members have recently mentioned doing a one-off show in various interviews. Steve Perry hinted at touring... maybe a one-off Journey show.
I think Zeppelin could still pull it off. It's a shame they could have done a couple stadium tours and an album since the reunion and Robert still would have had some years to work on his solo albums/tours.

I always respected Robert Plant for turning those offers down. I mean I love LZ, but none of the 3 reunions I'm aware of (Live Aid in '85, the Atlantic Records thing in '88, and the one-off in '07), despite being really fun and nostalgic, really did justice to John Bonham and the original LZ sound. Robert Plant, in the meantime, wants to keep creating his kind of art and not have it be associated with LZ. Imagine if you were an artist whose work has evolved all your life, but people only want to appreciate the work you did 50 years ago? That would be infuriating. And now, Robert's voice is much more delicate than it even was in '07 (I think he and JP and JPJ did a fantastic job-- but I was not so amazed by Jason Bonham's sound).
I feel the same about Gilmour/ Waters/ Nick Mason. If they could get along, I bet they could make wonderful new music together. But a PF reunion? They did that at Live Earth (was it '08?) and it was great, but just not sure it's in the cards.

I can't imagine any bands that still exist that could fit the bill for reunion. Led Zeppelin are just too old and past when they should have done it at this point, and Pink Floyd doesn't really exist without Rick. Also its not like David or Roger would ever discuss it.
The Kinks are too old, Oasis don't seem like they're going to yet, Talking Heads would be cool now that they're on speaking terms but it seems doubtful. There aren't really any reunions worth happening anymore.

It too me awhile to really be on board with Robert Plant wanting to bow out of a reunion. For years I was furious. I was young and I wanted to see my Led Zeppelin and he was preventing that, and so many people felt the same. It wasn't till years later when I really heard him speaking about it and him saying "I'm not that guy anymore" that I really got it. That and when I saw the film with a girl and I walked out saying that was incredible and her first response was "why was he trying to seem so young and grabbing his ass all the time?" And I was like "because he's Robert @#$%& Plant, and he did exactly what we fans want to see him do!" And right there was where I realized he's right. He's not young anymore, he's not that guy, and when he's in Zeppelin thats how he kinda has to be and he'll be compared to his former self. And he doesn't want to be and he's totally right. Sure thats just one opinion from a non-fan, but I do think it speaks to what he means. He went back to the well one more times for the fans, for Ahmet and to really close that chapter. I thought they did it beautifully, I respect him for it, and I ended up feeling he was totally right all these years and we just had to catch up.
Like you said, similar to Pink Floyd. Live 8 was perfect, I literally just watched it yesterday randomly. David does NOT want to play with Roger. He had pretty valid reasons then, and you see the Roger Waters we have these days and its even clearer. And for us fans, for the world, for this great cause, he put it aside and gave the world some more Pink Floyd with that classic lineup. It was beautiful and as much as I love Pink Floyd, they didn't have to do more. That was a fitting end, even moreso because Rick died shortly after. At least it happened, it didn't have to. So I respect the guys who have held out because it truly would be a cash grab and the one offs have been enough for me.

Paddy, me trashing on that band is not preventing anyone from somehow enjoying them.
Are those their song titles?
