I need to say that I also first thought that the song is a bit sketchy, like not really full-written. And that was like its charm. But now it all makes sense. The way Keith delivers it, emphasizing all its fine nuances makes me think that it is the best Keith ballad for a very long time. Genius little musical ideas, and Keith doesn't need to over-do his interpretation like he does in some more typical recent crooner numbers. Now he just sings the right notes and that's it. Very effective.
Had I've been at the show, I am pretty sure it had been one of the show highlights for me. Add there "Little T&A" - pretty unique choice for this tour and he does it damn well - what a great Keith set!

Definitely not. My first Stones show at Giants Stadium in 2006 they didn't play Miss You.

This is almost my ideal setlist for Vancouver, based on what they rehearsed.
If they swapped WH for Fool to Cry or Worried About You, as well as WWW for Live By the Sword it would be golden.

Well it was a great night in Pit A. The band, set list,pit neighbors-all couldn’t have been better.
It was Keith’s night! Ronnie and Mick put on their usual awesome show but Keith really stepped up in my eyes. Keith has been great for years but was extra special last night-animated, covering the stage, improvising, weaving, singing, plus Tell Me Straight! Channel has been a favorite part of the show for me singing GS but tonight I couldn’t help watching Keith, he had so much going. I would love a recording of last night. I also found myself facing everyone in the pit as they watched Mick on the wing behind us but Ronnie was soloing on the center extension.
The set list was a real treat. Great to hear Midnight Rambler with the Robert Johnson insert for the first time this year. Mick improvising some MR wording. PIB is routine for me but it sure is a crowd pleaser and Keith improvising was refreshing. As was his fills in GS. Keith signing on Wild Horses was also loud front and center.
If songs are like babies then the new ones are developing nicely. Great Angry with blues guitars. SSOH is terrific and yet still improving.
As the show ended Keith revived Satisfaction cranking his arm to the rhythm section. And Jagger sang along with the extended outtro.
The pit was full but not too crowded having room to dance and move around. The crowd was excited to be there, friendly and passing a wet messy fat one.
Ronnie complained that his hand hurt to stage help multiple time’s following Keith’s set until the end. I hope he is okay.
I had no ticket when I went to the venue. I tried the box office and they had a few single seats available or $900 for a pair. Many people stood around hoping for a drop for budget reasons. They then searched for a good spot outside to listen. Boxoffice couldn’t help with Ticketmaster resale tix so I headed to the parking lot for cell service and bought on line at no great price.
I’m not sure what exactly makes a show special. It really could just be personal. But last night was firing on all cylinders. Like usual, I didn’t get enough and am excited for the next one.

First show of the tour for me, might have been the best show I've seen in 10 years.
2nd show in a city is always the better of two, setlist included.
Keith was awesome the entire evening, everyone sounded amazing.
Sally watched the show beside me just behind the Pit, was great to meet her.
The Pits were absolutely jammed, glad I had a front floor seat on the aisle.
I cannot believe how good these guys are, on to the next one!

I was at the first NJ show on Thursday and while that show absolutely blew me away, I am jealous of the people who saw last nights show! Seems like the band was firing on all cylinders!! Fantastic to see a very animated Keith at 80

Loved smu, get out of my cloud and bitch. Rough and dirty. I was really anticipating the new songs, because I love hackney diamonds. But I can't help but angry sounded like a coverband trying to imitate the sound of the record. Whole wide world turned into a nice groove, tell me straight really got a strong empathic keith...but why Ronnie did the solo? I was shure it was Keith on the record. I must say I was a little disappointed with SSOH. Its one of my favourites on hackney. But live it was kitch. Specially because of Chanel. She's more acting than singing in my opinion. But maybe it was because I was secretly hoping for lady gaga on this nyc night. I dont know how they're doing it, but jjf and satisfaction always sound fresh, vital and a little dangerous. Love it! And Ronnie has a lot of subtle and great feeling in his playing these days. And mick was dancing and singing like always - a phenomenon. Thank you Stones

I’d be well happy if I got that setlist in Vancouver, Miss You has been played to death and Rambler SHOULD be played to death. Fingers crossed that Miss You stays out of the set at BC Place.

He continued to play just fine. He did shake his hand and let stage help know it hurt multiple times. I was thinking he wanted ice ready for his offstage time at the beginning of Sympathy.
