The song vote video is from 2018, they never made a new one. That declares why Brown Sugar is in the list. The actual footage they use in it is from Hamburg 2017. I’m in it, standing sideways and filming Keith onstage
Do you honestly think they remember what they played over 20 years ago?? Or care for that matter?
Chuck probably quit checking what they played last couple of tours, nowadays they actually go great lengths to perform stuff they did on the previous tours or the one before in the actual city.

Quick math tells me that it was actually closer to 18 and 3/4 years ago.
Do I think they remember?? No. I don't expect them to. They could spend 10 minutes and look it up. Especially when they have claimed that they keep detailed records of what they have performed, when and where for this exact reason.
Do I think that they care?? It doesn't seem that way.
My honest guess in this case is that they want to rig in Heartbreaker for the N.Y. line.

was there last night and pretty bummed we got Wild Horses as the vote song. id have preferred any of the other 3 (Worried about you, Fool to cry or Depending on you) especially after WH was the winner in their last show...

i think they should make this tours song vote 4 HD songs every night. Force themselves to play an extra one. I was disappointed i didn't get to hear Whole Wide World of Bite My head Off last night. Both sound as if they were meant to be played live!

Genuinely curious, does this actually seem realistic to you to stick another new song in there? As it stands, they're playing 3 a night, which for a band thats been around 60 years and plays less than 20 song setlists, is pretty good. I understand wanting more, but expecting it seems out of the realm of realism. Be thankful they are even doing 3 and not just 2. The fact is they don't really have to be playing any, 95% of the people going to shows either don't know or don't want to hear the new stuff, and this is a band with a 60 year catalogue of huge hits that also aren't being played each night. It can't be perfect, but for what it is, I feel the Stones are doing a pretty good job this tour. Of the 18 songs, 12 are warhorses, 3 are new song slots (2 that are every night, 1 that rotates) and then 3 slots for rotations (song vote choice and 2 other spots for rotating deeper cuts). They could easily do 17 warhorses and 1 new song a night, so I give them credit, if we're trying to stay realistic.Quote

They could drop IORR or LSTNT for a HD track and if Keef sang TMS in place of YGTS you'd have 5 songs a night. I don't think the audience would collapse from these changes, but I'm just happy we're getting at least 3 and they are still putting on shows for us.

Using my typical logic I don't think they'll play Bite My Head Off, which would be the choice of many hard core fans. But the other choices are all great in my opinion. One of the best lists in my memory. Have a great concert everyone.
