Is there any Keith song that's really gonna make a stadium crowd happy? Maybe Happy, but thats about it. I imagine most don't know any of his songs.

The warhorse run looks boring on paper, but they're sounding good and the crowd seem to be into it. (But then they're only casual fans).

I love YGTS. At least they got 2 Keith songs, we only got one in New Orleans.

It's been this way for years. I am a diehard fan and of course could name dozens of songs I'd rather hear but still love going to their shows, never found them boring at all. The show I saw recently here in New Orleans was fantastic.

That would be my choice out of all of the new songs. I was so hoping they'd play it in New Orleans but it was not to be. At least we got Irma and Mick on TIOMS.

Sitting at home looking at the songs roll out and being there hearing then live in person. I once got Sad Sad Sad and You Got Me Rocking back to back. On paper that looks awful, in the crowd it sounded amazing and everyone enjoyed them.

Jacqueline the streamer says it's the best concert she's ever watched.

Caught the last third on her feed. Fun listening to her wanting some Satisfaction! Sounds like she got it!

5:30 AM - thank god I'm on holidays ...

It was a very solid show without something that made it special. It sounded great. The band played well. It was a fun time especially for casual fans who are buying tickets. It sure seemed full as well.


The other point I meant to make is this is first show back after break. Sunday will be different.

Glad you had some good weather and they didn't need to postpone! Looked like a solid performance from the streams I saw.

Why? Are your seats no good? Is the sound bad where u are? The crowd unruly what you are? Too hot? Too cold? Or are up in the pit? The wrong pit? Too crowded there?

I take it you ARE there…if so, taking time out to post?

Great show in my opinion! Was up in the nosebleeds, but well worth the money. Great time!

Great show. Disappointing set list though. But they played quite well. Almost as good as Vegas. Pit B full but not much drama this time, with the exception of a woman who had a fake wristband and made it into pit b. She did not like her seat in the lower bowl and had a fake wristband and a fake sticker, and came and crowded us in the rear corner of Pit B near the catwalk. She spent the entire opening act texting her friends, trying to find where they were. She owes the Stones $950 as far as I’m concerned. I also saw Jan Wenner there tonight walking with a cane. I wonder what he thought of the show. Lucas Jagger was in the celebrity pit behind us. Keith did quite well on his solos tonight.

no that's definitely keith during the htw solo

he's just playing it unusually fast and fluidly (for him lately at least)

To me, a show in the pit is great. Getting Shattered played as well as it was, and a much tighter Mess It Up, were highlights for me. Being with the 20 year old son of a friend who shared my Lucky Dip fortune and seeing the joy he exhibited was icing on the cake.

Just to clarify... I think Keith missed his cue for Honky Tonk Women solo so was just playing the chords for first bit, then realised, they had a little laugh between them, and then Keith played the second half of the solo.

Will write a more comprehensive review tomorrow.

Initial thoughts: solid show. Not sure we really need the second coming of IORR. Keith's Sympathy solo was better. Start Me Up was a clean intro. Mick worked the crowd but lots of phones (as he commented before YCAGWYW). Really enjoyed my spot in block 142 having a side-ish view of the stage - could still see Steve but not chuck or Chanel/Bernard. Much tighter than Houston (the tour opener I attended). Think the camera people need some reminders of how the Stones set works - big moments were continually missed and therefore weren't on the screens for the audience. Will detail more in the review just in case anyone from the Stones team reads(!)

Just got back. Set list wasn’t the best I’ve seen but I thought the show was phenomenal. My first of 2024. Thought Keith was much more alive tonight than the first few shows. Mick is Mick, no further questions there…
