I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE BETWEEN MACCA, STONES, AND U2.

INSTEAD THE STONES DIDN'T EVEN GET A NOMINATION.


ANYWAY, MACCA WILL WIN BIG TIME.

I've only heard U2's new one and I don't think much of it.

As for Paul's - it's a goodish album if you like him and/or the Beatles - but for it to be nominated in any competition for 'album of the year' is absurd.

I'd bet on U2 winning album of the year. I like both Macca's and U2's new albums, but I believe U2 will end up winning. Classic rockers haven't fared well at the Grammy's lately.

Mariah, Kanye West, U2 and Gwen Stefani were all huge sellers. Macca has no chance whatsoever. That's just how the system works.

I PREDICT: MACCA WILL PERFORM ON THE GRAMMY, WILL BLOW PEOPLE AWAY, WILL SWEEP ALL THE AWARDS, ANNONCHE A US 06 TOUR, WORLD TOUR, AND RE RELEASE WHEN I M 64 , WHICH WILL BE A SMASH HIT WORLWIDE.


ALSO HIS WORLD TOUR WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE BEST EVER.!!!!!!

Macca can´t be nominated to best rock album - the album doesn´t include rock music.

The album should at most be considered best pop album ......

Traditionally sales influence what will win, so U2 (more sold than ABB or the Foos or Neil) seem like a shoe-in (tho Atom Bomb was indisputably a hit, it surprisingly dropped off the top 200 after 39 weeks - more evidence of ongoing & massive sellout tours no longer keep a band's album selling), plus it got lots of airplay. Coldplay & the Foos are unlikely imo, Neil could be a left field favorite tho he sold less than Our Yobs, & ABB just hasn't had the sales & airplay traction, despite good reviews, so in the unlikely event that it wins their award will likely be, like their first, in 1986 - a lifetime achievement award.

Not really. He seems to be around 8 years of age. A Bigger Bang was his first studio album too.
