they have re-packaged live albums before in super deluxe releases
They haven't reissued any live albums as a super deluxe.
first for everything though
i meant repackaging brussels with the super deluxe ghs
an album sourced from the voodoo shows would be cool
and i mean a real live album of 10 to 12 tracks sourced from multiple shows not just a complete show
yeah i know stripped but that's different

I haven't gone through every one of the posts in this thread to see if this is already mentioned, but GYYYO was certainly a super deluxe and actually the one that set the course for Stones superdeluxes. I think it was 2009 and the first one I purchased.

Partially because there's probably no need to: STILL LIFE, well, there's two full live albums from 1981 and 1982.
FLASHPOINT has Atlantic City and Tokyo.
NO SECURITY, there's BEUNOS AIRES, BREMEN and SAN JOSE.
LOVE YOU LIVE has LA FRIDAY and MOCAMBO.
LIVE LICKS has NYC and WILTERN.
Amazingly they didn't release a live album from the VOODOO LOUNGE tour (at the time, of course) but now there's VOODOO LOUNGE LIVE from the Miami PPV.
Perhaps one thing they could do regarding the pre-vault/etc live releases is a compilation of the rest of the tracks they either worked on or considered for the live album - the live B-sides from the FLASHPOINT singles alone could be one short album.

It would be fine if they release ONCE AND FOR ALL mocambo and knebworth!
The From The Vault series is video, some sets have CD's too, so El Mocambo(which wasn't filmed) won't be part of Vault series. The BBC erased or recorded over two hours of the Knebworth concert leaving the one hour of film that we have had for years!
Sorry, but not true..Knebworth 76 audio is complete and video is complete. There was even thought about releasing it a year or two ago.
True though that El Mocambo was not film, even at my suggestion that they should have filmed it back in 1977.

What about "Stripped" and "Totally Stripped" 1 CD + 4 DVD Set (a.o.) [www.discogs.com] ?
it covers all 3 shows where the recordings were made - audio and video
i guess more "super deluxe" is not possible

True, but STRIPPED isn't exactly a typical live album, that's why I didn't think of it that way/include it.

well, is NO SECURITY (which i actually do like) is a typical live album ? no real opener, no real encore song. "Totally Stripped" contains all 3 complete shows, no matter whether on CD or DVD or BR. You can't get more deluxe than this

Concerning Still Life, meanwhile there are three official '81/'82 full show releases ( Hampton '81/ Wembley '82,Leeds '82).
Also there are five full show Voodoo releases ( Miami '94 / Tokyo '95,Paris '95,Paradiso '95 and Brixton '95 ).
That'll be enough I guess.
Any full show beetween '69 and '76 I would be happy about,especially MSG '69,Roundhouse '71, MSG '72,Philadelphia '72.

I only got the normal TY deluxe because I have HAMPTON and LEEDS, I figured why get one more live album from that tour?
The more I think about it, it would mostly be to hear what all Mick says between songs. The performances are going to basically sound the same as HAMPTON and LEEDS.
I love both of those but at times I'd rather listen to STILL LIFE because it's shorter!

Do blurays or dvd count as physical releases, or only vinyl albums? And what about bootlegs? For instance: Ladies and gentleman is an official DVD release, but as LP it was never officially released (there is a bootleg from it; there was a recent discussion on this board that it may be ‘official’, but it is not).
And what about the Love You Live album, which has songs from the Abbattoir shows in Paris? Still life (has songs from Lago, east Rutherford, Chicago, besides the stand alone Hampton release)
And the Licks live cd, which contains recordings from Paris and london(besides the wiltern and NYC). And the shine a light dvd?
Checkerboard lounge, rock n roll circus should also be on the list I think
One is missing. There was a second LA 1975 show issued on CD by Ward Records as a part of their Superdeluxe. I.e., it was a usual 2CD (like for the whole world) and bonus 2CD with soundtrack from the movie. I do not want to start here again July 11/July 13 mess. But both shows were in audio format within that Ward Records Superdeluxe [WRDZZ-163].Quote
