If you only had money for one of the shows at SoFi in LA, which one would you go for? Thanks in advance for any insight!
It's a toss up, really. As LA, like NJ and Chicago, is a two show market, one show will get Miss You and the other will get Midnight Rambler. It's anyone's guess which show will have the "better" set list.
And it's 2nd only to Altamont Speedway as the worst possible place to see the Stones so you might check all the OCD boxes but the experience itself may be quite lacking. It's why my budget for night #2 is beg someone's LD at face value or just go see Samantha Fish.
Are you sure Altamont is worse? I am just hoping there are no emergencies since it will make the Cincinnati Who concert in 79 seem tame. The stand up comedy line was in case of emergency follow staff instructions. Staff couldn't provide directions how to get to floor and the one way that was obvious was blocked off.

Yea I saw them at SoFi in 2021 and we were in GA pit, and it was legit terrifying to think about how we'd get out in case of fire or earthquake. Getting out of the pit was insane too. My wife is short, so she could barely see anything.
Trying to figure out what to do this time around. I do like to dance, and I'm worried it will be less fun/inviting to dance if I've got seats in the first level?

Hi guys, can you recommend a parking lot for SoFi? Never been in LA before. Thank you - Gordon

For those who have experience with Sofi transpo to/from show:
Flying in for one show, staying near LAX and was going to Uber to show and back, yet after reading some Reddit stories on ridesharing from Sofi after show it doesn't sound like best idea.. Anyone with experience there think it better to rent a car for the day and bring myself to and from stadium instead?
Thanks in advance for your answers

Parking also difficult and expensive, you may want to consider the bus.

SoFi sells parking in advance through ParkWhiz.com; allows you to save a few bucks that way before they jack up the price day of show. Prices for July shows as of today range from $55/$60 and up; they also tack on a 10% “convenience fee”. They do allow you to cancel up to date of show, which I have done, with no issues.
Not sure which lots are best; might depend on which direction you are going/coming from. Personally, based on geography/where I live, I prefer the Blue Lot, but it’s sold out for July. Second choice is Green. From both, it’s been fairly easy for me to get in and out, with proviso that I do tend to leave at the encore for a local show. (I do have the advantage of living here and knowing the side streets around SoFi/Forum area.) I have no experience with the other lots.
The $55 lot they list is a garage for the casino; I’ve read some people say that’s a nightmare to exit, so you may want to avoid that one.

I will stay in Santa Monica with my whole family. Which lot is recommendable concerning my stay. Thank you in advance - Gordon
Or Are there public transportations such as in New Jersey or Boston especially for the concert?

I’d opt to save a few bucks and park at the Forum for $60 plus fees. Use Parkwhiz and Purchase the ticket off the Prairie entrance. Easy walk across the street to SoFi and much easier lot to escape from after the show (assuming traffic control doesn’t screw it up). Take 405 South from Santa Monica to Manchester exit, left at Manchester to Prairie, right at Prairie and a left into the lot.
LA isn’t NYC/NJ, Boston or Chicago; it’s rare easy public transportation options exist. Maybe some day…In theory, the Expo Line from Santa Monica hooks up with Line 212 that Dean mentions in his post. Don’t know whether the transfer at La Brea is a reasonable one or what service is like after the show; Dean may know.

Thank you! Just booked green lot. See you in LA! Cheers Gordon
The last tour at Sofi, the bus was unreliable. It worked fine for getting to the venue for both shows. For the second show, after the concert, the bus was running two hours behind schedule. Our hotel was only about a mile away, but it was a really sketchy walk. We tried to stick with other people & arrived at the Best western OK but I wouldn’t do that again.Quote

Any visitors staying near Hollywood might definitely want to consider the 212 bus, going down La Brea to the venue area* for $1.75 cash each way and free wifi.
* bus stops opposite the Forum, which is adjacent to SoFi, though I usually get out a few stops beforehand because eastbound Manchester becomes a car park approaching the Forum.

Hello - I need advice. I am seriously considering coming out for the LA shows. Can someone please suggest hotels that are close, and possibly offer transportation, to and from the venue? If not, can you suggest bus routes to get me to and from SoFi? And also, safe areas not too far away. I'm not planning on driving and I know Ubers are pretty much impossible to find after a show. Thank you for your help!

How early do the SoFi parking lots open (for those of us getting there early to get in line for early pit access)? I bought a park whiz pass for SoFi #1 and it says 4:30 for parking lot entry. I didn’t buy a pass yet for SoFi #2. That’s the one I need to get there earlier than 4:30.

Maybe it's a crazy idea, but i want to go from marriott airport hotel to sofi stadium by bicycle. What do you think? Google maps say it's 20 minutes

We (two adults) are staying at the Hilton LA Airport for the 7/10 show. We are somewhat concerned about transportation to and from the venue. Please let me know if you are interested in either sharing an uber or having us pay for your parking charges. I know there is a bus to the venue but the return is worrisome. Thank you!

I’ll be at LAX Marriott or Hilton and plan to bus there and walk back so you’ll have a partner if you guys want. Read plenty of reports (not on this site) of people walking back to LAX area hotels down Century after shows etc.. I agree bus and uber after show will be a long wait (or maybe the bike idea mentioned above if that area has those)

Thanks Snoopy. May take you up on that. I know there's going to be a horde of people around. It may wind up being quicker to walk it. Keep me posted as to where you wind up. Anyone else with suggestions, thoughts are appreciated!
