Come on voters, lets get the Rainbow! The others are a bit slow and sad.

My last pick is Rainbow, but to each their own.

Far Away Eyes for me. To be different. Even tho I’m pretty sure there’s no way it’ll win

I voted for She's A Rainbow as well. Seems like it would fit on a nice spring evening in May.

Standard pit tickets ( A & B ) currently available for this show ($545 + fees).
Standard rear GA's as well as quite a few floor seats.

May bold well for us LD'ers, but a bit disappointed in my home town tbh.
Never was a great "Stones Town" (always preferred Vancouver) but thought they turned the corner in '19 with an enthusiastic largely sold out crowd.

I have two sets of lucky dips available. My sister cannot make it and I purchased another ticket. Anyway, I will have her ID and will be there. If you can pass for my sister, around 5' 8", brown/blond hair, maybe they will distribute the tickets. Asking face (97 USD for each pair). Email: jelsnab@yahoo.com

All good options in the song vote. Wild Horses will probably win but I’d hope for Faraway eyes.

I think a HD track might make a debut tomorrow. Just a hunch. Or wishful thinking.

This seems to be more of an on-sale announcement than an individual show poster. They've been sticking to STONES (and skipping the Rolling) for years.

Yes, that's correct, wasn't the individual one.

BTW, interesting that they just called that tour "Summer 2023", no album name to go with it. So it's pretty clear Hackney Diamonds wasn't finished (or at least not named) by March 2023.

I'm wondering how the low ticket sales will impact dips (being a dipper for this one myself).

That 2019 show was awesome. Sweet Virginia + Dead Flowers on the b-stage was A+

They don't want any empty spaces up front that's for certain.. we'll see.
Glendale there was nice floor seats in the LD pool.. if they don't sell those out or pit, gotta believe those will be in the mix.
I think with a Vancouver show this time around, not as many coming down for it.

I'm surprised more Vancouverites aren't taking advantage of the cheaper ticket prices. The first few weeks after ticket sales, the comment sections on the Vancouver fb event, etc, were flooded with people complaining about the prices and opting not to go. My physiotherapist is going to the Seattle show for that exact reason. Didn't want to pay 400 bucks for a nosebleed.

welcome to my state fellow stones fans

have a great time and enjoy the mild weather that the stones seems to have brought with them

it was nearly in the 90's end of last week and just before that nothing but endlessly cold and rainy weather

Cool story about Charlie from their last visit here..
RIP Charlie..

The time a Rolling Stones drummer walked into Seattle’s Screwdriver Bar

It was a slow night at Screwdriver Bar, a midsummer Tuesday that was about to conclude like any other ordinary evening at the Belltown rock den. With less than an hour to go before last call, no one expected that it would become what’s arguably the most memorable night in the bar’s history.

It was the night before The Rolling Stones were set to play CenturyLink Field in 2019, a colossal stadium show during which the enduring rock giants made the football field feel like a sweaty, unbridled gig at Belltown Yacht Club, the subterranean rock club adjacent to Screwdriver. Apparently, Mick and the boys were staying at the Four Seasons seven blocks down the street.

Shortly after 1 a.m., in walks Charlie Watts, the famously understated drummer of a band featuring some of rock ‘n’ roll’s largest personas. Watts and a couple crew members pulled up a few seats in the basement bar that co-owner Chris Jones turned into a rock ‘n’ roll clubhouse, plastering the walls with rock memorabilia, including more than a few Stones pieces.

A die-hard Rolling Stones fan, Jones plans to see the formative rock legends for the eighth or ninth time when they play Lumen Field on May 15 — the band’s first Seattle concert since Watts died at 80 in 2021. The night Watts ducked into Screwdriver was a tragic missed connection, as Jones happened to be off that evening, one of his biggest regrets.

“[It was] a lesson learned that if Charlie Watts ever comes down, you call me. You call me a thousand times,” Jones said. “I was like, ‘Did you tell him that basically the bar wouldn’t exist without him?!’”

Thanks for sharing that MisterDDDD. Screwdriver is a great basement hideaway with a treasure trove off Rock n’ Roll memorabilia on its walls, excellent tunes, drinks, and service. The sets with DJ’s spinning their vintage 7” 45s are fantastic. I’ve met Chris Jones, and he is a genuine, sincere, and good-hearted music fan.

Just scored parking by the baseball stadium for under $50. Not bad during an event.

Good going Chris. Hope you get a smooth exit post-show as sometimes traffic can get a bit snarled after big events at the stadium. I’ll just take light rail, as it’s cheap and convenient, and if the show runs late, catch a ride home.

For those with the day off (I’ll be coming from work), the Mariners will be playing the Kansas City Royals at T-Mobile Park, just a short walk south of Lumen Field, starting at 1:10. Might be a leisurely way to pass the afternoon before the show.

My goddaughter is super excited for the show. She's got good musical taste. I just ordered us shirts from the site. No need to hassle at stadium. I think the gum wall shirt is hilarious. The Vegas shirt is awesome too. Should be a good day tomorrow. @javadave , you are correct, escape is important. I live in West Seattle so if I'm south of Lumen my escape is good.

haha, that sounds more likely. What I really meant I was only sleeping 1 more night before. That makes time move faster, right?
