It's good stuff, none of the Stones seem to drink now so it's a bit weird to have them own it but whatever more for me to enjoy, I'll drink it for all of them winking smiley

Got mine today!

The gold rum is quite similar to other decent gold rums. My wife liked it mixed with coke.

The reserve, wow, smooooth, a very good sipping rum.

Has anyone in Germany ordered the rum via [www.crossfirehurricane.com] and can provide some information regarding the applicable import duties and shipping costs?
I read somewhere that, for the EU and Great Britain, the rum is shipped from the Netherlands—meaning that no import duties apply to EU countries. Can anyone confirm this?
However, if it is indeed shipped from the Netherlands, why is the rum priced in British Pounds?

I can only say that the rum in Carnaby Nr.9 Shop London (end of april) was 25£ without any extras.

That was surely a day offer, normaly 35£ in the shop ;-)

Any ideas for mixers?

Tried cola and ginger beer, both no sugar versions.

With a splash of still water brings out the aromas and flavours, also makes it smother on the palate, same with Whisky, I'm drinking water with Makers Mark at the moment, £24.50 a bottle in Morrisons, lovely. winking smiley

Spring water is best.

Not sure how the Gold beat the Reserve, but interesting news! I did notice one of the judges was Ian Burrell though who helped create this stuff confused smiley

We've got some news we're rather proud of!

Both of our Crossfire Hurricane rums have been recognised at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), one of the most respected awards in the drinks World:

- Crossfire Hurricane Gold — Gold (96 points)
- Crossfire Hurricane Reserve — Silver (92 points)

To put that in context: the IWSC has been the benchmark for quality since 1969. This year, more than 4,000 spirits from close to 100 countries were entered, each judged blind by a panel of over 110 of the industry's most respected palates, from international buyers to master distillers and sommeliers, with every medal-winning spirit then independently lab-tested. A Gold is reserved for spirits the judges consider exceptional in quality, craftsmanship and character, so to come away with both a Gold and a Silver in the same year means an enormous amount to us.

It's a real testament to the care that goes into every bottle, and we couldn't be prouder of this incredible achievement.

"It's fantastic to see Crossfire Hurricane recognised on a stage as demanding as the IWSC. These are rums made with real character and care, and to land both a Gold and a Silver in the same year is a huge achievement. Cheers to the team — thoroughly deserved."
Cairbry Hill, Crossfire Hurricane Co-maker
