Kinda reminds of me "Hide Away" from Goddess in the Doorway

This song makes me crazy. It's beautiful but it reminds me of another song and I don't know which one.

A new classic country song with nice dobro slide work by Ronnie and nice melodies.

My favorite besides Sweet Sounds of Heaven. Reminds me a bit of "Every time I break her heart" from the fully finished outtakes. Awesome!!!

Great song. I really love it.
One of their best since the end of the 70's.

It sounds so much like "Short And Curlies" to me that I find it hard to enjoy.

I'm glad others love it, though!

I can see this track being used in an episode of Yellowstone ..
Achingly lonesome and beautiful.
A standout for Ronnie.

Feels like it belongs on the Some Girls expanded release

I had that thought too... [and I love that "bonus tracks" album]

But I love this side of the band and this is why I'd love them to do a country album in the same way that they did B&L.

Not only it reminds me of Short and Curlies, also the lyrics are quite similar:

"And you can't get away from it all" - Short and Curlies
"And I got to break away from it all" - Dreamy Skies

In any case, this album is sooo good it hurts.

A shame I think smiling smiley, cause that reference is only one/two sentences.
To me it is another Stones country classic!

"Short and Curlies" meets "No Spare Parts" ;-)
Still a very enjoyable song !

I'm a 44 year old guy and I just cried like a baby when I listened to this song...

I can hardly believe that those old guys still had this in them.. Beautiful song..

And to think that I skipped this song after a minute during my first listening session because I thought it sounded too much like Shorts & Curlies grinning smiley

Maybe they don't even remember writing/playing Short and Curlies grinning smiley
Have you guys seen the Howard Stern interview with Keith Richards? He wouldn't remember writing also Surprise Surprise, Blue Turns To Gray and a few others.

I'm only listening to it now for the first time and 1 minute in but I had the same feeling. Maybe the feel of Far Away Eyes?

Cheers,

Very reminiscent of a 1978 Pathe Marconi outtake, but I can remember which one.

Sorry, I simply don’t get the Short and Curlies reference. Torn and Frayed, yes, mixed a little with, somehow, Sweethearts Together!

Another addition to the classic Stones Country catalog. Lovely, sparse, wide open, beautiful music.

Though, not my favourite Jagger Country vocal or lyric by a long shot.

A little rhymy-rhymy.

I like it but I wish it wouldve been a Stones song, not Jagger singing to himself. I wonder how they record his voice.

It has a No Expectations vibe but there's a lift oddly, from Short And Curlies. Anyone else heard that?
