Looking forward to this one! Lady Gaga is a good choice to have someone for a duett who is a massive pop star but also has a lot of artistic integrity. And Stevie Wonder doesn't need a justification

That's a relief after the 17 snippet from a few days ago, but still it's a good noise not a beautiful noise, hopefully when we see the full picture it comes together.

I never bought a Stones album to get that noise, would have bought a Lady Gaga album.
It's not the Stones but its good, i like it, it's different in a good way but a bit disappointing so far, it's not Heaven or Beast Of Burden.

A lot "busier" (and not in a good way) than the first extract, but yes, we need to hear the whole thing to get into it.

For me it's quite the opposite.
I dig most of it, only Angry sounds a bit too "trashy" for my taste - soundwise.

The new EOMS Album had the badest reputation ever in 1972. After a year it was one the best rock albums of all time. Think we have to listen to HD for a while, before we can rate it.

I think the snippets both sound absolutely outstanding. Gives me Exile in Main Street vibes

This is an amazing and exciting time to be a Stones fan, as others have noted.It's a shame for those fans who feel they can't get in to it or like what they have heard. I had downloaded the two album tracks but decided not to unzip that file - and wait til the album comes. The bits of Heaven we had a window onto sound fab, full on, live in the room, and Angry just grows on me on daily listening. It's like a three stage rocket - the first part, that riff, the voice, the drums n bass; then Keith's solo and the handclaps, and then the turbocharged churn around the 'I'm off to Brazil'bit where it goes zero gravity and stellar... I find I cannot get enough of it, and need the CD ASAP to start shaking my old hi-fi system....

The three tracks I’ve heard Get close, Depending on You, Angry and Snippets of Heaven all sound pretty commercial and yet really good, catchy. Very much look forward to hearing this whole thing. I think we will have a few real surprises on it.

I think it a little premature to dismiss an album before it’s release; after all, we’ve thus far only heard the one, officially released track. However, music is subjective, and it’s entirely alright for someone to feel negatively towards this new Stones release. The reality is that we’re not all going to love it, or hail Hackney Diamonds as return to their heyday. We all know how some here will compare it favourably to the ‘big four!’ Myself? I’m looking forward to listening to Hackney Diamonds. Whether I’ll be listening in a year’s time, I don’t know. I certainly don’t give Blue & Lonesome much consideration.

I expect an eclectic and really catchy album. Nothing more and nothing less!

Already a new single? What happened to Angry?
