Is it Richards, or Richard?
See the old thread: "Richard or Richards?" - [iorr.org] .

They’ve used just “Rolling Stones” since The Sixties.
The Beatles used just “Beatles” on ‘Abbey Road.’

I'm frankly more concerned with Keith.
Is it Richards, or Richard?
I know Richards is how he was born, but Richard was cooler...wasn't it, in the late 60s?
When and why did he come back to the plural form?! It's not like there's two of him, he's totally unique!
If we're going to vary names (Rolling Stones, Stones, The Stones), what about "The Keith Richards"?!
That has a lot of gravitas.

Years ago I went to record stores an the Rolling Stones albums and singles were always under “R” for Rolling Stones.
I’ve seen both ways on the same CD. It’s definitely Rolling Stones.
