There will never be another live female performer like Tina Turner.
A remarkable woman.
God Bless you Tina.

Energetic lady, magnetic stage presence!

RIP Tina, a true Queen...

Tina & Mick

Thanks for posting - Tina was one of the few who wasn’t overwhelmed by Mick on stage. She looked like she could have him for lunch - and he looked like he wished she would! Stunning woman.

...I will miss Tina - really sad and surprisingly for me! I'm sure that she'll be always "The Best" for everybody of us!

Live at Müngersdorfer Stadium, Cologne, 1996

I had the pleasure of seeing her two times - at Müngersdorfer Stadium, Cologne in 1996 and 2000 together with iorr-user NedKellyBandit.

I didn’t realise how ill she was. Rest in peace Tina!

A True legend is gone now... sad smiley

All the best to you and your family -

What a woman. She brought lots of joy and happiness to the music world and was a special performer. She certainly had the power up on a stage to own her audience. She will be badly missed.

RIP Tina

just heard

really sad

i'm grateful for the wonderful music she left behind and for what she gave to the stones

it's probably not an exaggeration to say that without her mick would have turn into a very different and perhaps lesser performer

Thank you for reminding me Mr Chris, when it was that I saw her. It was exactly there and then ...... I couldn't recall !

Dear o dear, what a loss. But I never realised she'd developed such health problems ....

This is such a groove. Phil Collins on drums. Knopfler and Clapton on guitars. Elton John on piano. And TINA!

absolute top tier icon, rarefied air. One of the very few performers that are recognized by just their first name. Elvis, Bing, Frank, Cher, Barbra, Mick...

My first show of Tina was in Karlsruhe, Wildparkstadion (Germany) on May 24, 1990. Fortunately the whole show was broadcast live on the radio here. So I programmed my Hifi VCR at home to record it while I was at the concert (audio only). It worked fine and as I came home I had the show recorded. If you like it here it is in perfect soundboard quality: [we.tl]
