Remake ?
The insurance usually protects the folks who pony up all the upfront $$, sponsors, promoters, etc. It's not health insurance for the band while on tour.
But if the album is not coming out until 2026, why an unofficial update now? What's the rush?

I always thought it was remake, then I read it was Robin's initials so if the middle name starts with M, then that's it! Also, is Robin Allen's son or daughter, never seen any pictures before.

Because it's often written in lower case letters (see the rear covers & labels). The initials of a name are usually written in capital letters.

Did you hear a tour announcement?
Did you buy tickets for any shows?

If the answer to any of the above is 'yes' , you might have a point.
I'd wager that most potential ticket buyers outside of those who use internet forums weren't even aware of a pending tour announcement, let alone where the concerts were likely to be.
It would be nice if they issued some statement or someone did an interview with regard to their future plans, but unless you were in some way inconvenienced because something that was never confirmed didnt actually happen, its a strange sense of entitlement to think you 'deserve' something.

An unofficial update on the album they've been working on for many years would be nice - even if it's a word or two from Ronnie, or Steve, or Darryl, or Chuck, or Karl, or Matt Clifford, or anyone close to the band!
But I certainly don't expect it. And no - fans do not deserve an official statement from the band regarding the postponement of a tentative tour that was never official or even announced in the first place.

There was no official announcement so no explanation or apology needed, it really is that simple for me.
We don't own the band and they don't answer to us either so not sure why some think they should explain.

My take on this , and it's just a theory, Ronnie was nowhere to be seen from August last year to last month, that's unusual for dear Ronnie, i had the feeling he was getting another round of treatments of some kind or another and that paused any chance of passing medicals for the tour that was delayed but never announced. ( Just my pennies worth and I'm probably wrong.)
Ronnie proved his fitness recently as we all witnessed when he played for 2 hours, ( so will pass a medical now i would guess ) so expect to see them tour later this year, thats my prediction.

Well it's a bit cryptic but "patience please" can be taken as we intend to tour but we need to deal with something first that we don't want to discuss.
On the one hand we don't deserve anything from them, but it would be polite and respectful to your fans to keep you in the picture, keep you in the loop so to speak. .
Like i just said on the abum thread just now, at this stage it's the safest bet to predict that the tour is "ON" when tickets go on sale and not before.
