Having seen Ozzy on the "Rock Star" tv ad recently I'm worried about his ability to pull it off. Sadly looks quite decrepit.

it'll be pre-recorded vocals, like his last two performances no doubt. Likely sitting in a chair the entire time

Ticket sales seem slow. 5 hours after tickets onsale pit is still available as are good reserved seats. Desert Trip had put weekend 2 on sale and nothing good was left for each.

“just this once” …… I wonder does that mean it is just a one off with no other dates around it? Is this how it’s to be for AcDc now with Brian’s hearing, just one off dates every now and then and no more tours?

They'll have to start offering 1-day passes.
That's a huge time commitment and cost for all 3 days.

For me Ozzy is a push me away act. This version's Bob Dylan. I am doing the Ben Harper tour instead. Definitely more grueling than a Stones tour since I am doing 5 of 7 shows in 9 nights.

Hope for one more Acca Dacca gig is still alive!!

All bands are contracted for a 2nd weekend but we will see what happens with that. Didn't Desert Trip sell out first day?

Looks like Pantera have a gig the same night…

Ozzy gig will pay better.

Zak will not be with Ozzy. He’s already committed to playing in Pantera.

The whole thing really pushes the envelope of "enough already" which is kind of remarkable following Desert Trip

Areosmith have a 2 week break in their tour during PT, so that's a possibility, though I wouldn't put them in the 'power' category, like the others.

Based on availability, Crue or Leppard are more likely. JP has no dates scheduled this year. Megadeath will be in Sacramento CA on the 6th, so the 7th in Indio is possible.

(No spot taken, I just like speculating, although the Sat doubling of AC/DC and Areosmith would make me pause).

Hopefully they will get Glenn Tipton to join for a song or two if he's healthy enough as well as KK!

I'm curious, impatient and a little worried to see what AC/DC will do live on stage. Angus has been off the radar since 2017 (live with Guns N'Roses), and how will Brian handle a 90-minute show? The concert in October doesn't mean a tour to follow, and I don't absolutely want it to. If the band stops afterwards, I'll respect the decision.

AC/DC will be special but can be hit of miss
Seeing Metallica is nothing special too

Not that impressed by the lineup. Not even close to Desert Trip.

AC/DC is Angus on fire and Brian screaming
I don't want to see my favorite band diminished.
If October's result isn't up to scratch, I'm sure Angus will be able to say dtop.
