from the daily mail

The Sea High Productions event, which was hosted by Sally and Anne Heath, was raising money for the national charity Aspire, which supports people with spinal cord injuries.

Also present were TV presenter Anneka Rice, EastEnders star Jake Wood, and Imelda May, who performed with Ronnie.

Oh yes! Very nice! It reminds me to the cellar concerts, I played with some friends in the early 90s. We knew, that we had about 20 minutes time till the police would come and close it down. We had two or three rehearsals and a wonderfull and powerfull girl was singing. The memories are stellar.

Hopefully they take Chanel Haynes with them on tour (in case they tour). her surprising guest appearance in Milano revived GS so much!

does anyone else think that sudden lurch from i can feel the fire to the chuck berry number was a spontaneous decision that ronnie made on the spot and not what was rehearsed

ben waters looks sorta surprised and pushes the mic towards imelda but she gestures for him to sing and he breaks into let it rock but ronnie's singing "go johnnie go" in the middle of the song

sorta odd isn't it

100, that's the club's capacity.

There was a limit of 100 people at this gig, but I'm guessing more like 60-70 stayed to the end. Ben had just flown in from Australia, and I assume there was little rehearsal. Ben's son Tom played some great sax, and hearing Imelda May and Chanel Haynes was fantastic.

But Ronnie was the star of course - at least of the music part of the evening. He looked and sounded in great shape. Someone asked for "I Can Feel the Fire" and he just started it up - I don't think the band knew it, hence a very short version.

Let It Rock was played, and was not on the setlist. Some of the audience clearly didn't know it as they sang "Go Johnny Go" in the "chorus", so at the end Ronnie transitioned into Johnny B Goode.

The setlist was geared around the vocalists - so Simply the Best, River Deep, Mountain High, and Proud Mary for Chanel. And Rock-n-Roll music, Wee Wee Hours, and Rock Me for Imelda. Ronnie sang Chain of Fools - with some nice guitar work. Ben also did a couple of other songs as warm-ups.

Matt Clifford spent some time in the audience, but did not take part on stage.

This was probably the smallest, most intimate, gig you could imagine from one of the Stones. Between Matt L and Hendrik M I think it was all videoed.

Very cool for those who were there, something about this is a lot more interesting to me than a full-blown Stones stadium concert. Great to hear I Can Feel The Fire!

Cool...I like these intimate concerts and good to see that Ronnie still does them, I love his rhythm guitar.
When I started playing guitar I was attracted by his rhythm guitars, I spent nights trying to imitate them.

My thoughts exactly, maybe many fans don't know what a miracle it is this man is still here and performing. He's continually beating the odds, just fantastic to see him healthy like this, Rock on Ronnie smileys with beer
