The intimate gig was in aid of Aspire, an amazing charity supporting those with spinal chord injuries.

So glad you and Hendrik were there Matt. How many were at the gig?

There was a limit of 100 people at this gig, but I'm guessing more like 60-70 stayed to the end. Ben had just flown in from Australia, and I assume there was little rehearsal. Ben's son Tom played some great sax, and hearing Imelda May and Chanel Haynes was fantastic.
But Ronnie was the star of course - at least of the music part of the evening. He looked and sounded in great shape. Someone asked for "I Can Feel the Fire" and he just started it up - I don't think the band knew it, hence a very short version.
Let It Rock was played, and was not on the setlist. Some of the audience clearly didn't know it as they sang "Go Johnny Go" in the "chorus", so at the end Ronnie transitioned into Johnny B Goode.
The setlist was geared around the vocalists - so Simply the Best, River Deep, Mountain High, and Proud Mary for Chanel. And Rock-n-Roll music, Wee Wee Hours, and Rock Me for Imelda. Ronnie sang Chain of Fools - with some nice guitar work. Ben also did a couple of other songs as warm-ups.
Matt Clifford spent some time in the audience, but did not take part on stage.
This was probably the smallest, most intimate, gig you could imagine from one of the Stones. Between Matt L and Hendrik M I think it was all videoed.
