As a big Miles Davis fan, I liked a lot of Shorter's contributions that he brought to the 2nd great quintet...I didn't appreciate him in the beginning (I liked his predecessor George Coleman in the tenor sax role initially), but over time I really grew to like his playing style. Truly a jazz giant...
