Tour of Europe 1973 releases?

Tour of Europe 1973 - boxset for the 50th anniversary?

Wouldn't it be great if the Rolling Stones would release a boxset with additional recordings of the lgendars 1973 Tour of Europe?

At least the shows at London WEmvbley Empire, Brighton, Newcastle, and probably Essen were recorded so there's plenty of material to make a great boxset. Although the setlist are rather identical the Stones were on their peak.

I can't help it, I still keep listening to the available recordings all the time.

Just a proposal, could be a special editiion without much promomtion. I have no idea what it costs to remix the master tapes for one album...

Maybe change to "What about a Tour of Europe 1973-boxset for the 50th anniversary?"

Bruxelles has already been released…
The rest of the stuff becomes public domain after the end of this year (unless they release it officially before or on Dec. 31th)

Oddly I suspected it was somebody's wish nothing more. Gotta say it's a very good idea.

The circulating tracks from Wembley are great, so a complete Wembley show. Also i think the first Brussels show was better than the second show which they officially released. 1972 and the Pacific Tour is so lacking in any great sounding official releases.

The Wembely shows might be the best ever shows they have performed

Lovely idea @saltoftheearth but pigs will fly over a frozen hell before that happens.

I was at the Sunday night show at Wembley. 9th September 1973, cost 2.20pounds.

That was the show when mid-song Mick spotted some Wembley staff hassling some people in a section close to the stage. He stopped the song and told them (the hassling staff) to leave. Much cheering to that.

Note: It was Empire Pool Wembley and not the Stadium.

Copenhagen (Brøndbyhallen) October would be very very nice to have officially too - only one of the two shows have been circulating - and just from an audience source. No soundboard.

Birmingham odeon 73 was my first stones concert. It was absolutely brilliant.

It is only the person starting a thread who may change the head subject of a thrad, and me, the IORR editor/moderator. Your initial subject was indeed clickbate, which is not acceptable. Re the IORR posting policy and moderation.

Clickbait titles: The title of a new thread should be short, and it should be the essence of the actual topic posted. Threads with subject titles being made as clickbait, i.e. not completely saying what the thread is about, or misleading, will be deleted.

The IORR posting rules are simple and easy to understand. They are made in such a way that people may see what the thread is all about, and also in such a way that the moderator (me) do not have to spend a lot of time changing titles and deleting threads.

That would be really cool. Wish there were more 71-75 live official releases, but at least we have some amazing bootlegs!!
