I don't mean to sound negative or spoil the work on this list but can anybody here name one song the Stones performed with guest artists that was actually better than when they performed it by themselves?
All those disappointing collaborations just go to show how amazing the Stones are, any attempt at complementing their work with alien artists ended up being counterproductive.
Melody with Billy Preston is wonderful, but it shouldn't be on this list. He was part of the original recording and a steady musician on the tour. It would be like mentioning Bobby Keyes or Lisa Fischer as special guests.
I love Boogie Chillen with John Lee Hooker, but that's not a Stones song. In fact the Stones were basically the house band for Hooker. Great choice by the way, that short appearance brought so much global attention to Hooker.
