Alice Cooper at the Nassau Colosseum (Long Island, NY) summer of 1977. On the billboard sign outside it read "Elvis Presley" and he ended up passing away a few weeks later.

And a month later . . .
The Beatles, Dodger Stadium. August 28, 1966
Thinking back, what an incredible way to begin my fantastic concert journey!

Judas Priest, Amsterdam, Feb 14 1981, with Saxon as opening act.
That would have been a great double bill to see! Priest on their Point of Entry tour and Saxon touring for Denim and Leather album. Saw Priest in 82 in Vancouver on the Screaming For Vengeance tour and Saxon in 83 when they opened for Iron Maiden.

Actually it was still Saxon's Strong Arm Of The Law tour, and Priest's Point Of Entry wasn't released until... two days later or so. They did play two cuts off that album already anyway, but it was a gig that sort of fell in between the tours for British Steel and Point Of Entry, because on the proper tour that followed they played different songs than the two that we got to hear (December 1981 Priest played in Amsterdam again, with Accept and Def Leppard as support acts).
One thing that I regret is the fact that Priest never played in Europe in 1982, which was the year when I consider them as being at their best.
